The coastal area has become the most active and most potential area for tourism development in China with its high level of economic and social development, unique tourism resources and complete industrial factors. However, due to the excessive pursuit of economic growth,high-frequency,high-intensity and high-density tourism development and multi-industry clustering in the coastal areas, coupled with the vulnerability of the sea-Land interaction belt, lead to the degradation of ecosystem functions in the coastal areas, the vulnerability of tourism development to the social and ecological systems in coastal tourism is becoming increasingly severe, and the research on resilience provides a breakthrough for solving the social-ecological system vulnerability of tourism destinations.Based on the perspective of resilience, this paper discusses the socio-ecological system connotation and interaction mechanism of coastal tourism destinations, incorporates social systems, economic systems, and ecosystems into a complex system to build a socio-ecosystem restoration of coastal tourism destinations. The force evaluation index system and variable fuzzy identification model were used to measure the socio-ecological resilience of coastal tourism in Liaoning Province, and probes into its space-time characteristics and evolution trend. The factors affecting the resilience of social-ecosystem are also discussed. On this basis, the countermeasures and suggestions for enhancing the resilience of social-ecosystem in coastal tourist areas of Liaoning Province are put forward. The research results have important reference value for enriching the theory and research on the resilience of social-ecosystem resilience of coastal tourist destinations. It is of great practical significance to realize the sustainable development of Liaoning coastal tourism and the healthy operation of social-ecological system. The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)There are two trends in the changes of the resilience of the social-ecosystem in the coastal tourist areas of Liaoning Province,in which the low value increases with time, the high value changes relatively smoothly, and the spatial difference of the system resilience decreases continuously. The regional distribution of moderate resilience fluctuates greatly, showing a trend of first increasing and then decreasing. The region of higher resilience increased to Dalian and Dandong, the region of lower resilience increases to a moderate level;from the point of view of the evolution trend of resilience,The restoration of regionalsocial-ecosystem is better, the region with high resilience has certain stability, medium and low resilience has a significant increase trend and showing a good trend of development.(2)The rising trend of resilience of the social subsystem is relatively stable.Dalian,Panjin,Jinzhou have a relatively high resilience,Huludao,Yingkou and Dandong are at a medium level; The economic subsystem has certain volatility,as the tourism growth pole of Liaoning coastal tourist destination, the resilience of Dalian is obviously higher than other five cities; The ecological subsystem has low resilience and slow growth rate,Dalian is higher,Panjin,Yingkou is lower; While the resilience of composite system is greatly affected by social and economic subsystem.(3)Based on the diagnostic model of obstacle degree, the obstacle factors of the resilience of social-ecosystem in coastal tourism area of Liaoning Province are discussed from the criterion layer and the index layer. On the criterion level, the economic subsystem and ecological subsystem have great constraints on the resilience of the system. At the index level, ecosystem factors account for 37% of the obstacle factors, economic system factors account for 33%,social system factors account for 30% of the obstacle factors, relatively speaking, ecosystem factors cause the highest degree of obstacles.According to the diagnosis results of obstacle degree, the adaptive management countermeasures to promote the system resilience are put forward.
