Resource-based cities have emerged due to resource development and utilization. With the gradual exhaustion of mineral resources, the transformation of resource-based cities has become a focus problem in the economic and social development of countries around the world.Restricted by multi-dimensional factors such as remote geographical location, single industrial structure, backward infrastructure, and conservative development concept, the transformation and development of domestic resource-based cities are struggling. As a typical mountain resource-based city in my country,Panzhihua City combines the dual vulnerability of mountain environment and resource-based cities, and its transformation and development face highly complex systemic challenges.Focusing on the theme of resource-based cities’ social-ecological systems resisting external disturbances and their transformation and development capabilities, the paper comprehensively draws on resource-based cities’ transformation,social-ecological systems and their resilience and other disciplinary theories, and adopts a systematic measurement model—set pair analysis Method, quantitatively portrayed the vulnerability, coping capacity and resilience index of Panzhihua’s social-ecological system and its social, economic and ecological subsystems,in-depth discussion of the correlation between the factors of vulnerability and coping capacity and resilience, and further exploration The driving mechanism ofsocial-ecological system resilience provides a scientific reference for the transformation and development of Panzhihua City.Research indicates:(1)The Panzhihua City Social-Ecological System Vulnerability Index showed a downward trend of fluctuations, and the subsystem vulnerability index was significantly different.Although the vulnerability of the social subsystem is moderately vulnerable,it shows a rising trend of volatility. The vulnerability index increased from 0.46 in 2000 to 0.56 in 2016;the vulnerability of the economic subsystem is moderately vulnerable, but the overall volatility decreases, and the vulnerability The index decreased from 0.57 in 2000 to 0.43 in 2016;the vulnerability of the ecological subsystem showed a steady downward trend, from high vulnerability to moderate vulnerability, and the vulnerability index decreased from 0.67 in 2000 to 0.36 in 2016.(2)Panzhihua’s social-ecological system coping capacity and the coping capacity of each subsystem are on the rise, but the changes of each system are significantly different. The response capacity of social subsystems is slowly fluctuating and the overall state is moderate.From2000 to 2016,it only increased from 0.51 to 0.67.The response index of economic subsystems changed drastically, from 0.10 in 2000 to 0.80 in2016.Complete experience The three stages of low, medium, and high;the ecosystem subsystem’s coping capacity index showed a steady upward trend, and the rest of the years except 2000 were in a mediumstate. Its coping capacity index rose from 0.31 in 2000 to 0.54 in 2016.(3)The social-ecological system resilience index of Panzhihua City shows a steady upward trend, the overall level is at a medium level, and the changes of various subsystems are also significantly different. The resilience index of the social subsystem has a slowly rising trend and can be divided into two stages: from 2000 to 2008,its resilience index tended to be stable between 0.46-0.51;from 2009 to 2016,the resilience index was higher than 0.55 And began to rise to a high resilience stage in 2014.The resilience index of the economic subsystem has changed drastically, rising sharply from 0.25 in 2000 to 0.66 in 2016,and has fully experienced low, medium, and high resilience. The resilience index of the ecological subsystem is at a medium level as a whole, but its variation is significant, and it is obviously divided into two stages: from 2000 to 2006,the resilience index has increased from 0.49 to 0.57;from 2006 to 2016,the resilience index The downward trend is obvious, from 0.57 in 2006 to0.46 in 2016.(4)According to the analysis results of the factors affecting vulnerability and coping ability and resilience,it can be concluded that there are linear and non-linear effects between the social-ecological system influencing factors and resilience of mountainous resource-based cities. There are significant differences in the nature, rate and law of influence.Linear effects can be divided into linear increasing and lineardecreasing curves;there are four types of nonlinear curves: non-linear increasing,non-linear decreasing,U-shaped and inverted U-shaped nonlinear effects;the influencing factors of non-linear curves at various stages of system development and resilience The change rate and characteristics are obviously different. At the same time, preliminary discussion on measures and suggestions to enhance resilience of mountainous resource-based cities to provide reference and reference for the development of resource-based cities. |
