The scientific construction and operation of sewage treatment plants is related to city environment and human health.It is necessary to choose proper process according to local water quality conditions.This paper introduces the current situation of sewage treatment development at home and abroad,and introduces several common sewage treatment processes.It includes activated sludge,A/O,A2/O,SBR and MSBR,AB,biofilter,oxidation ditch,UNITANK,BIOLAK,CASS,DAT-IAT,IDEA,ICEA,SBAF biological processing system,etc.This study use project design,operation and reconstruction project of huaihua sewage treatment plant as an example,introduce the main structures and equipment such as coarse grille,lifting pump room,fine grille,two stage contact oxidation pool,ultraviolet disinfection pool,sludge pool,sludge dewatering,blast machine room and sludge thickening pool are introduced.The water quality and energy consumption of the import and export water are analyzed.This paper expounds the operation management,including the general principle of process parameter setting,the main process parameters,the inspection system of sludge dewatering,the updating and upgrading of equipment,the management of equipment energy saving,and the management of water quality inspection,etc.projects of detailed analysis of the existing problems and improvement project,discusses the application of biological contact oxidation process for municipal sewage treatment plant and the direction of development.In the effluent quality index of Huaihua sewage treatment plant,COD and TN can meet the requirements of the first grade A standard.The projects of BOD5,NH3-N and TP can not reach the requirement of the first grade A standard.The energy consumption of biological contact oxidation process is relatively low.This study analyzes in detail the problems existing in the process operation of the sewage treatment plant and the improvement project of the reconstruction and expansion project.The main contents of the improvement are as follows:1.In order to solve the problem of inconvenient maintenance and influence of water quality at the bottom of the oxidation pond,the drainage tank was added at the bottom of the oxidation pond,and the bottom of the pool was washed conveniently.The original aeration hose was transformed into a aeration disc to reduce the mud at the bottom of the pool and improve the water quality.2.In view of the high failure rate of the wire rope scraper,the hydraulic reciprocating shaving machine has been installed in the sedimentation tank of the extension project.The wire ropes shaving machine in the first phase will be gradually replaced in the future,which can reduce the frequency of overhaul and ensure continuous and stable operation.3.In order to solve the difficult and dangerous problem of the operation of the bottom pool maintenance,the height of the supporting frame of the oxidation tank of the expansion project is increased from the bottom of the pool,reducing the support component at the bottom and reducing the risk and difficulty of the maintenance.The first phase of the project is completed in the replacement of the filler.4,upgrade the automatic cleaning system of UV disinfection equipment for the first phase,ensure the ultraviolet light transmittance,increase the number of ultraviolet lamp tube,guarantee enough ultraviolet light intensity,and ensure the requirement of the first grade A standard.On the whole,the huaihua city sewage treatment plant has reached the design standard and is in line with the development needs of Huaihua.However,with the increasing environmental requirements,Huaihua sewage treatment plant needs further upgrading in the future.With the progress of technology and the improvement of the equipment manufacturing reliability,the deficiency of biological contact oxidation process has been greatly reduced.This process has the advantages of low energy consumption,less land occupation,no sludge reflux and sludge bulking.In the situation of promoting energy saving and emission reduction,this process is worth further research and promotion.In the future,the main research direction should be how to develop and select new types of fillers,reduce the production of sludge,strengthen the mass transfer process,improve the intelligentized operation,and develop an integrated reactor that is suitable for the sewage treatment in villages and villages.
