After the industrial revolution,the population exploded explosively,the global economy developed rapidly,and the process of urbanization continued to accelerate so that mankind continuously requested various natural resources to seek further development.Unlimited development of land resources,deforestation and land reclamation,and land reclamation on the lake have also led to a significant decline in the carbon sequestration capacity of terrestrial ecosystems while plundering ecological land.In addition,the development of human industry uses coal,oil,natural gas,and other non-renewable fossil fuels,and releases large amounts of greenhouse gases such as CO2 into the atmosphere.This has led to a growing global warming effect.The melting of polar ice,extreme weather phenomena,frequent natural disasters,and climate deterioration have made people gradually realize that the scientific use of natural resources and the rational distribution of ecological land are of vital importance for sustainable development.How to scientifically and rationally carry out land use planning,prevent theprominent economic benefits in the process of land use,and neglect the implementation plan of ecological protection,land use planning will further damage the carbon sequestration capacity of the ecosystem,and it is the focus of land use planning and land ecosystem protection.Therefore,research and exploration on the relationship between land use cover change and ecosystem carbon stocks will enable us to understand more deeply the evolution rules and impact mechanisms of the ecosystem carbon cycle,and then formulate principles that are consistent with sustainable development and green development.Land use and allocation planning can achieve economic development on the premise of ensuring the ecological environment.Based on the multi-source and multi-scale data sets of the Huanghuaihai Plain in 1990,2000 and 2010,such as remote sensing image data,social statistics,and observation data,the land use pattern of the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain in 2020 was simulated using the CA-Markov model.On this basis,the In VEST model was applied to assess the temporal and spatial pattern of carbon storage in the land ecosystem of the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain from 1990 to 2020,and to analyze the carbon sequestration capacity of terrestrial ecosystems in order to establish a scientific and rational land-use plan to maximize the protection of the ecosystem.Carbon capabilities provide the scientific basis.The main findings are as follows:(1)First,the spatial pattern of future land use development in the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain was simulated using the CA-Markov model.The results showed that in terms of area change,the land use type structure and spatial pattern in the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain generally showed a decrease in the area of cultivated land,grassland,and unused land,an increase in the area of construction land,and the area of forest land and water area remained basically unchanged.In terms of spatial distribution,the overall characteristics of land use patterns in the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain are coexistence of overall and local differences.Cultivated land is widely distributed in most parts of the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain;woodland is mainly distributed in the northern,western and southwestern border areas of the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain;grassland is mainly distributed in the transitional zone between the western border and the plain;the construction-intensive area is the Bohai Economic Circle and The provincial capitals and other construction sites are scattered throughout the plains and have strong consistency with the distribution of arable land.The waters are mainly distributed in the Yellow River estuary,Heze in Shandong,and Jiangsu Province.Unused land is mainly distributed in the eastern coastal areas in Shandong.(2)Carried out the analysis of spatial-temporal patterns of carbon storage in the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain.Based on carbon density and land use data,the carbon storage module of the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain was calculated and analyzed in 1990,2000,2010,and 2020 based on the ecosystem model of ecosystem service and transaction assessment model.The results showed that the total carbon stocks in the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain continued to decline,and the carbon stocks in cultivated land,grassland,and unused land continued to decline.The carbon stocks for construction land continued to rise.The carbon stocks in forest lands and water areas generally declined,and there were different development trends in different stages..The results show that the overall carbon fixation capacity of the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain ecosystem is continuously declining,the area of ecological land is continuously shrinking,and the land-use development of the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain will inevitably affect its ecosystem service function.(3)Comprehensive analysis of land-use cover changes and the trend of carbon change in terrestrial ecosystems in the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain from 1990 to 2020.Analyze the impact of land-use changes in the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain on the carbon sequestration capacity of the ecosystem.The results show that various types of land are used.There is a strong correlation between the trends of carbon storage and the changes of land use patterns,but due to the different characteristics of carbon sequestration and carbon density of different land types,the trend of change in total carbon storage of land ecosystems due to land-use cover change It is not a simple positive or negative correlation.Therefore,adopting a scientific and rational implementation plan for land use planning can not only maximize the protection of the natural environment,but also maximize the promotion of regional socio-economic development.(4)Based on the CA-Markov model,the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain was developed for land-use development pattern simulation.The In VEST model was used to evaluate the future carbon sequestration capacity of the terrestrial ecosystem.The results of the study can be used to adjust land development and utilization plans for the Huang-Huai-Hai Plain and to develop scientific and rational Land use planning and ensuring the sustainable development of the ecological environment can provide decision support information on the data.It can also provide methodological reference for land use planning in other regions.
