According to the single and isolated tailings dam safety evaluation models,building a tailings dam safety evaluation theoretical system can dynamicly evaluate tailings dam safty and forecast and warning more scientificly and effctively.The research on characteristic rules of safety and stability parameters and safety sensitive factors which contribute a lot to the tailings dam safety under multi-factor coupling conditions puts forward a counter measure for tailings dam safety and provides decision level a judgment basis for safety evaluation.The main content of the paper as follows:Based on the departed tailings dam accidents reasons,analyzing the main factor of dam safety and obtain harmful factors,including dam break or dam collapse,overtopping,landslide harms,leakage,piping,debris flow damage,biohazard,thunder harm and earthquake hazard.Dividing the tailings dam into safety evaluation uints including integrated layout,dam,drainage structures,flood draining,tailings transportation and tailings backwater by function division,and evaluating the safety through preliminary hazard evaluation,safety checklist,fault tree analysis,dam stability checking,tailings dam flood regulating calculation.According to laws,regulations and industry standards,putting forward safety measures and suggestions based on the problems of operation,the tailings dam designing scheme,potential hazards and evaluation results.From three aspects including environment,dam safety and flood drainage system safety,providing a supporting measure for tailings dam safety.
