Recent years,in the traditional process of zinc hydrometallurgy,the technologies of valuable metal collections such as zinc and plumbum are more mature,which have been widely used.However,the zinc volatile kiln is influenced by the life of refractory materials and other factors,resulting in the severely restriction of production capacity,and the handling capacity of Leach residue is low.Therefore,increasing the production capacity of zinc volatile kiln and the amount of zinc leaching residue have become an urgent problem for zinc smelting factories to deal with.This paper integrates technological characteristics of zinc volatile kiln,adopting the new type of fused Aluminum-Magnesia-Chromium sand as the main raw material,aluminum dihydrogen phosphate as the binder.Researching the influences by different addition of grain composition;matrix;and firing temperature,and test the samples' performances of apparent porosity;bulk density;ambient compressive strength;thermal shock resistance;slag resistance and SEM analysis.drawing the conclusion that when magnesium-aluminum-chrome sand 5-3mm account for 30%,3-1 mm 27%,1-0 mm 10%,180 meshes 11.5%,200 meshes 15%,MgO 0.5%,Cr2O31.5%,?-Al2O35%is the best ratio.After the firing with the best temperature 1650?,leading to the best performances.18%apparent porosity,the bulk density of 3.5g·cm-3,ambient compressive strength 70 MPa,the refractoriness under load is more than1700?,thermal shock resistance water-cooled can reach to 20 times or more,and the erosion depth is less than 1mm under the temperature of 1580?.
