John Bellamy Foster’s Ecological Revolution Theory And It’s Enlightenment To China’s Green Development

While the world is developing rapidly,the earth’s ecology is becoming more and more fragile.How can we avoid the harm of human development to the earth’s ecology? How to promote the friendly development of human society and the earth’s ecology? Throughout the history of human development,the relationship between man and nature has undergone the process of human dependence on nature,fear of nature and conquest of nature.Under the influence of the idea of conquering and controlling nature,human development has destroyed the sustainable development conditions of natural ecology.The traditional way of development worsens the ecological environment,and the resources that can be used are increasingly exhausted.As the global ecological crisis is becoming more and more urgent,John Bellamy Forster,an American scholar,reinterprets Marx’s Materialism from an ecological perspective,and points out the necessity of the ecological revolution.Forster’s theory of ecological revolution is the most characteristic part of his ecological Marx thought.It not only provides theoretical guidance for the resolution of the contemporary global ecological crisis,but also is of great significance to the green development of China in the new era.Therefore,by studying Forster’s theory of ecological revolution and combining the theory of Forster’s ecological revolution with the practice of green development in China,this paper tries to explore new ideas of solving the problems of ecological environment in our country in theory and practice,and tries to open a new way for the green development of our new era.The structure of this article is as follows: first,it studies the background,theoretical origin and experience of Forster’s ecological revolution,and answers the question of "why the ecological revolution".Secondly,the ecological revolution of Forster,Brown’s environment revolution,ecological modernization and ecological defense by means of comparative research methods.The relevant concepts such as the law of evidence are compared and analyzed,and the question of "what is the ecological revolution" is answered,the realization path of Forster’s ecological revolution is further studied,and the question of "how to carry on the ecological revolution" is answered;and again,the main theoretical contributions and shortcomings of Forster’s ecological revolution theory are evaluated and analyzed;finally,the conclusion is made.With the development of China’s new era,this paper expounds the realistic enlightenment of Forster’s theory of ecological revolution to China’s Ecological Dilemma and green development.The main innovation of this paper is to draw the essence of Forster’s ecological revolution theory and actively link it with the practice of green development in China,and to clarify the realistic enlightenment of Forster’s ecological revolution theory to the green development of our country out of the ecological dilemma.The main aspects are as follows: first,to strengthen the effective supervision of ecological resources;second,to prevent public power from being kidnapped by capital;third,to guide green development with ecological ethics;fourth,to guarantee public needs;fifth,to promote green development in the highly coordinated human destiny community.
