The development and utilization of mineral resources are related to the economic development of the country.It is of great significance to improve drilling technology and improve the performance of drilling tools for the rapid development and utilization of mineral resources.Pneumatic DTH hammer is an important drilling tool and can improve its performance.Pneumatic DTH hammer's impact energy is one of its main performance parameters.It represents the impact energy of a single output and can be used to evaluate the DTH hammer.The crushing capacity and chisel-in capability of the working medium,the accurate determination of the hammering energy,the design and commissioning of the pneumatic DTH hammer,the determination of the parameters of the hammer body structure,and the determination of the drilling efficiency are very important analytical basis.Due to the large impact force,high impact frequency,and short work time,pneumatic hammers pose great difficulties for the measurement of impact energy.This paper studies and designs a pneumatic DTH hammer impact energy measurement system based on the eddy current method and realizes non-contact measurement.The eddy current method has high sensitivity,low R & D costs,and can adapt to the actual working conditions of a pneumatic DTH hammer.Can effectively measure the impact energy.Moreover,based on the data acquisition system designed by LabVIEW platform,the measured data can be displayed and stored intact,which facilitates the analysis of the collected data and calculates the size of the impact energy.The main research work in this paper is concentrated on five points:(1)To understand the mainstream methods of impact energy measurement at home and abroad,and to select the appropriate design scheme based on the hammer structure and work characteristics of pneumatic hammers.(2)The related contents of eddy current method are summarized.Including the measuring principle of eddy current,the requirement of the tested body and the design of the probe of the measuring system.(3)The hardware circuit of the eddy current measurement system is designed,including the oscillating circuit,the source pole output device,the AC amplifier,the detection circuit,the filter circuit,and the design of the power supply part.(4)The design of measurement system control software based on LabVIEW is designed to achieve dynamic data acquisition,waveform presentation and storage function.(5)After the test,the experiment is carried out with the GQ-108 type pneumatic DTH hammer,and the data collected is analyzed.The measured impact work value is obtained.It is compared with the theoretical value.It proves that this design can meet the requirements of the pneumatic DTH hammer impact measurement,and its feasibility and precision have also reached the expected target.
