Semi-continuous mining process is a complex dynamic stochastic system which has much number of frequent equipment.The cooperation between the various parts of the system and equipment selection has a great influence on the production capacity and reliability of the system.Using simulation technology to analyze and design the semi-continuous process system,which can objectively describe the system's random factors,make the system structure,equipment selection,process parameters match more reasonable,and give full play to the system efficiency.This paper by mathematical statistics theory,system simulation theory,open pit mining science as theoretical basis,aimed at semi-continuous mining process characteristics and the actual requirements of production management,establishes each link simulation model of semi-continuous mining process.Based on Studio Visual 2010 and Server SQL 2008 software as development platform,the semi continuous mining process simulation system of open pit mine was developed by using the time step method as the modeling method.Using the simulation system to study the production process of an open pit mine semi-continuous process,analyzing the production capacity of the system,the utilization efficiency of the equipment and the system reliability in different equipment parameters,finding out the weak links of the system can choose equipment of semi-continuous system more reasonable.
