| With the development of society,fire accidents caused by wood are frequent.In order to improve the flame effect of wood,the expansive flame retardant is usually coated on the surface of wood,and the flame retardant material is prepared.Intumescent flame retardant is a new type of compound flame retardant,which produces low gas,low smoke and better flame effect.It is regarded as the future development direction of flame retardant.However,due to the rapid development of society,the traditional type of flame retardant can not meet the needs of the human flame retardant material.Therefore,one of the hot spots of current research is to improve the flame retardant.In this paper,In order to improve the effect of the flame retardants and reduce the fire hazard,the effects of industrial solid waste types and content on the flame effect are studied.In this paper,the basic formula constitute of the ammonium polyphosphate,pentaerythritol,urea and polyester resin,and the industrial solid waste with different types and content was added,and it was prepared by mixed method,then it is coated on the wood surface to make samples.The CONE was used to test the flame effect of the samples.The micro-structure and decomposition of samples were investigated by SEM and TG,and explain the mechanism of flame retardant.Through the test of flame-retardant,the addition of silica fume can effectively reduce the heat release rate,oxygen consumption,CO2 release and effective combustion heat of the sample.When the silica fume content is 2wt%,the flame retardant effect is better,and the parameters of heat release rate,oxygen consumption,CO2 release and effective combustion heat are compared and analyzed.The addition of fly ash and slag has great influence on the flame-retardant,and its flame retardant effect is better,and the effect of mount meal on the flame-retardant is low and its flame retardant effect is poor.The combustion products of the sample are observed by scanning electron microscope,and the types and content of industrial solid waste are different,and the structure of carbon layer is not the same.The carbon layer of industrial solid waste is added to a"colloidal"complete package substrate,and the transfer of oxygen and heat is cut off,so as to protect the base material from decomposition to achieve the purpose of flame-retardant.Compared with the micro morphology of the type and content of the industrial solid waste,it is concluded that when the amount of silica fume is 2wt%,the amount of fly ash is about 4wt%,the amount of slag is about 3wt%,and the content of the mount meal is about 1wt%,the carbon layer formed is more compact and complete,and the slag has a great synergistic effect on the flame retardants,which helps to form a more compact carbon.TG analysis shows that the industrial solid waste has thermal stability,which can effectively reduce the heat loss rate of the flame retardant and prevent or delay the decomposition process of the sample at high temperature.At the same time,with the increase of the industrial solid waste,the quality loss gradually decreases.To sum up,industrial solid waste plays a synergistic effect on flame retardants and can effectively improve its flame-retardant.In the decomposition of the flame retardant,industrial solid waste produces a synergistic effect with other components in the flame retardant,prompting the carbon source to form a more compact carbon layer,forming a condensed phase barrier and isolating oxygen and heat in the expansion.Outside the expansion layer,it is difficult to form heat transfer,thus protecting the substrate from decomposition,improving the flame retardant effect,reducing the danger of human fire and protecting the safety of life and property. |
