Molybdenum is one of the advantages of mineral resources in our country,but compared with other major countries whose storing molybdenum in the world,the average grade of molybdenum mine in our country is low?the grade of molybdenum is lower than 0.1%in 65%mining district?.Tens of milions of molybdenum ore were dealt in the beneficiation plant,but most of these were abandoned in the tailing pond.A lot of useful mineral components in the molybdenum tailings,such as feldspar,quartz and scheelite,could not be comprehensively recycling.It not only caused huge waste of resources,will also bring a series of environmental problem and social problem,such as the ouccupation of cultivated land,water pollution,etc.Therefore,the comprehensive utilization of molybdenum tailings has important significance to improving the efficiency of resource utilization,protection and improvement of the ecological environment.Take the molybdenum tailing in the Greater Hinggan as the research object.The nonmetallic mineral such as feldspar and quartz,were recovered by means of mineral processing.The chemical composition,mineral composition and occurrence state of impurity of molybdenum tailings has been analyzed by means of X-ray fluorescence spectrum,X-ray diffraction,polarizing microscope,reflective microscope and electron probe test in this paper.Analysis shows that the main minerals are feldspar,quartz and altered mica,and impurities are mainly iron ore,titanium minerals and carbonate mineral.The mainly purpose of mineral processing is the enrichment of feldspar and quartz mineral,and improves the aluminum,potassium and sodium content,and remove impurities of iron,titanium,and carbonate minerals,hoping to get available products of feldspar and quartz finally.Aiming at explore a specific flow to get high quality feldspar products in view of serious sliming,the properties of the impurities and purpose mineral.By means of classification method to remove fine grained mud.Iron and titanium magnetic minerals were removed through magnetic separation.Carbonate minerals and residual impurities were removed by flotation.The experiments results confirmed that through classification,twice magnetic separation and reverse flotation carbonate minerals,we obtained 52.50%whiteness of feldspar and quartz mixed concentrate after calcination.We concluded that the appropriate classification size was-30?m,the best magnetic separation conditions was as following?1?magnetic field intensity 1.0T,?2?flow velocity 0.8cm/s,?3?pulsating speed 300r/min,the best reagent regime for flotation was as following?1?flotation pH 89,Na2CO3 1500g/t,?2?compound oleic acid1800g/t,?3?diesel 90g/t.The molybdenum tailing possess SiO2 68.80%,Al2O3 14.82%,K2O+Na2O6.89%,Fe2O3 1.51%,CaO 1.86%,calcination whiteness 10.41%.Through the beneficiation tests we can get feldspar and quartz mixed concentrate with yield36.86%,SiO2 77.76%,Al2O3 11.83%,K2O+Na2O 8.17%,Fe2O3 0.27%,CaO 0.28%,calcination whiteness 52.50%.These impurities content of the mixed concentrate meet the second quality standard of flat glass,and mixed concentrate can be used in flat glass by matching with other feldspar.Analysis shows that the residual impurities of iron,titanium in concentrate mainly exist in the form of mineral inclusions,and increasing the grinding process helps to reduce the content of impurities Fe2O3,TiO2 and CaO,but it easily caused feldspar loss by pelitization and the low yield of feldspar.It is not suitable for increasing grinding,then separating quartz from feldspar with flotation,because of the feldspar and quartz in mixed concentrate are evently distributed in each grade.Infrared spectrum analysis shows that the mineral surface exsit reagents which are in the form of chemical adsorption,and these reagents may enhance the association between amine?RNH3+?ions and amine molecules?RNH2?,which easily leading to semi micelle adsorption when using amine cationic colletor and the actual concentraion is inferior to the theoretical concentration.The phenomenon reunite the mineral and is adverse to the flotation.
