Study Of Framed-inserted Curing Process Of Scattered Leaves In Flue-cured Tobacco

Bulk curing barn is the main special equipment for the primary processing of flue-cured tobacco leaves in China.The research and application of curing process are the basis of quality guarantee of tobacco raw material and sustainable development of tobacco leaf.The current developed technology of bulk curing,in the ways of that to meet the tobacco production curing needs,expand the scale of tobacco production,improve the efficiency of tobacco curing and promote the modernization of tobacco agriculture etc.,played a pivotal role.But in the application of the actual process there were still problems such as uneven temperature and humidity of tobacco leaves during the curing process,leaves collapse,the best amount of leaf loading was not clear and the uneven quality of cured leaves,etc.,hence in current study,the framed-inserted curing process of scattered leaves was used to improve the curing efficiency of flue-cured tobacco;the main results showed as follows:(1)Experiment of the changes of water Loss characteristics and leaf quality of cured leaves under different loading amount indicated that water loss speed and water loss content were different when the framed-inserted curing process of scattered leaves was used with different amount of leaved framed,and the best curing benefits performed when the framed amount was the amount of lower leaves 10 kg/frame and middle leaves 12 kg/frame and upper leaves 14 kg/frame in this study.(2)The framed-inserted curing process of scattered tobacco leaves could effectively solve the problem of collapse in the curing process.There were differences in the quality of the cured leaves with different inserted positions,with the best output when inserted with 20 cm from the upper edge of the leaf frame.(3)When the technology of framed-inserted curing process of scattered leaves was used for different parts of the tobacco leaves,results showed that the temperature and humidity of tobacco leaves in different parts of tobacco leaves,the appearance quality and intrinsic quality of cured leaves were significantly different,respectively.Nicotine content was decreased,reducing sugar and total sugar content was increased,when the framed-inserted curing process of scattered leaves was used,so as to the appearance quality and chemical quality of cured were further improved.(4)Results from this study that the effects of different power fans and their opening times on the quality and intrinsic quality of the curing temperature and humidity,indicated that maintaining the fan running for 4-6h before the ignition of curing,could balance the temperature and humidity of the curing leaves and improve the appearance quality and the mechanical quality of cured tobacco leaves,by studying the...
