| With the rapid development of social economy and the improvement of living standards,people’s demand for personalized and diversified fashion printed textiles has changed tremendously.Printed clothing with bright colors and vivid patterns have gradually become the mainstream of the market.Particularly,digital ink-jet printing based on personalized customization has become the world’s new fashion favorite.Compared with the high pollution and high energy consumption associated with traditional printing,digital printing technology is characterized by an exceptional degree of value addition,flexible production,green and environmental friendliness.The surface of wool fibers is known to be characterized by scales with a flake layer structure which makes it difficult for dyes to penetrate the internal structure of wool fibers.Thus,this study focuses on the digital and ink jet printing of wool fabric to optimize the pretreatment parameters Besides Sodium alginate,four kinds of printing pastes and thickeners,namely: CMC,DGT-6,TANAJET A4100,RS-001,have been employed.The adaptability of different paste to digital ink jet printing of wool fabric is discussed.K/S value and permeability,Color eigenvalues and other indicators are represented.The results showed that sodium alginate had high color yield and good permeability,but its desalting rate was low.The color yield of paste RS-001 was close to that of seaweed with better degumming performance.However its permeability was weak.These two kinds of paste are specially selected for blending to synthesize the excellent properties of different paste.Based on the determination of paste concentration,the additive concentration was tested by a single factor test.It was then characterized by the apparent color depth K/S value and the infiltration degree of pattern outline.Urea concentration,increased with the apparent color depth.Infiltration showed decreased at the beginning and finally exhibited a positive trend.With increase in the concentration of light powder,the apparent color depth increased first and then decreased.The anti-seepage effect significantly increased with sodium bicarbonate concentration showing fluctuations in color depth.With the increase of JFC-2 content,the apparent color depth increased significantly with the degree of infiltration.After optimization,the comprehensive formula of pretreatment solution suitable for digital printing of wool fabric was obtained as follows: sodium alginate 1.8% and RS-001 paste 0.4%,urea 14%,sodium bicarbonate 1%,osmotic agent 1%.The steaming process involved application of saturated steam at 102 ℃ for 30 minutes.After sizing the wool fabric with this formula,the fabric was brightly colored with a clear outline.Compared to using one type of printing paste,the apparent color depth of wool printed fabric can be improved with a combination of more than one paste,preferably two.This chapter discusses the effect of the nozzle model of digital printing machine on the printing effect of wool fabric digital printing.After determining the optimum pre-treatment parameters for wool fabric,the printing effect of the two kinds of spray heads on wool printed fabrics under the proper printing parameters are discussed.The apparent color quantity,clarity of the printing contour and color fastness of the printed fabric are examined as the indices to provide reference for actual production.When printing fine patterns,kyocera spray head is prefered to ensure that the pattern outline of the printed fabric is more visible. |
