| Cable type welding wire plasma-compound MIG welding is in ordinary monofilament plasma-compound MIG welding on the basis of the developed a kind of energy saving,high efficiency and high quality innovative welding method,due to the cable type welding wire plasma-compound MIG welding research is still in its infancy,this new type of welding method arc behavior mechanism is still unclear,hindered its engineering application.Based on the fluid dynamics software FLUENT,compared the ordinary monofilament plasma MIG composite plasma-MIG welding wire and cable type composite welding arc behavior in the process of numerical analysis and research,at the same time by using high speed camera technology to validate the results of numerical simulation,the plasma-compound MIG welding arc behavior mechanism.First,a numerical model of ordinary monofilament plasma-MIG composite welding arc was established in this study.The temperature field,velocity field,pressure field and current density field distribution of welding arc with different plasma welding current,different MIG welding current and different wire pole spacing were studied.The results show that when the plasma arc welding current increases and the MIG arc welding current increases,the highest arc temperature,velocity field,pressure and current density increase,and the coupling part increases.When the distance between the wires increases,the maximum arc temperature increases slightly,the maximum value of the plasma flow velocity increases,the maximum of the pressure increases first and then is basically unchanged.When the wire spacing is relatively small,the two arcs are coupled to a large arc.When the wire spacing is too large,two independent arcs are formed.Then,a three-dimensional arc numerical model of plasma-MIG composite welding arc welding wire is established.The temperature field,velocity field and pressure field distribution of plasma-MIG composite welding of cable type welding wire in different plasma welding current,different MIG welding current and different wire pole spacing are studied.The results show that when the plasma arc welding current increases,the temperature field,velocity field,pressure field and current density field of MIG arc in plasma-MIG composite welding of cable type welding wire all increase,but the maximum temperature,maximum velocity,maximum pressure field and maximum current density of plasma arc compared with common welding wire plasma-MIG composite welding The field has been reduced.At the same time,with the increase of plasma arc welding current,the coupling part of arc increases.With the increase of the welding current of MIG welding,the temperature field,velocity field,pressure field and current density field of MIG arc in plasma-MIG composite welding of cable type welding wire all increase,but the maximum temperature,maximum velocity,maximum pressure field and maximum current density field of MIG arc are all decreased compared with ordinary welding wire plasma-MIG composite welding.The highest temperature,maximum speed,maximum pressure field and maximum current density field of plasma arc remain basically unchanged.With the increase of welding current of MIG arc,the coupling of arc gradually increases.With the increase of wire spacing,the highest temperature of the arc in the plasma-MIG composite welding is not obvious,but it has great influence on the arc shape.When the welding wire spacing is small,the two arcs are coupled to a large arc,and the wire spacing is increasing.The two arcs become two independent arcs.The maximum velocity of plasma arc increases with the increase of wire spacing,while the maximum speed of MIG arc decreases with the increase of wire spacing.The maximum pressure and maximum current density of the plasma arc increase significantly with the increase of the distance between the wire poles,and the maximum pressure and the maximum current density of the MIG arc have no change. |
