Traditional Chinese Embroidered Pattern Meaning And Design Practice

The traditional Han embroidery,based on Chu embroidery,combines the north and south embroidery methods and diversified patterns,and has distinctive Jingchu local characteristics.The traditional Han embroidered pattern takes dragon,Phoenix,bird and beast as the modelling,the design form of the pattern changes from describing the painting work,evolves to the figure remolding,endows the full imagination,uses the bold composition thought,strives for the pattern color to be full of fresh life,the pattern decoration elegant,Embroidery fine and beautiful,full of strong visual impact and life appeal.The research contents of this paper are as follows: the background and significance of the research,the development of traditional Han embroidery,the methods and main contents of the research.Second,it discusses the history of traditional Han embroidery and the evolution of traditional Han embroidery.Thirdly,by analyzing the forming factors of the traditional Han embroidery pattern,this paper reveals the auspicious and beautiful meaning of the traditional Han embroidery pattern from the aspects of theme moral and modeling method.Fourthly,the diversity of traditional Han embroidery pattern design features is summarized by analyzing the composition,color,styling form and needlework skill of the traditional Han embroidery pattern through on-the-spot investigation and study.Fifth,from the Han embroidery pattern extraction,integration,reconstruction,design practice,etc.On the basis of retaining the original characteristics,the traditional Han embroidery pattern can be integrated into modern popular elements or popular colors,so that the traditional Han embroidery pattern can be more suitable for modern life and aesthetics.The research adopts the methods of data analysis,field investigation,contrast analysis and case analysis to re-examine the cultural implication of the traditional Han embroidery pattern and the traditional Han embroidery pattern design technique.As the study of Chinese embroidery pattern design itself is a folk-custom study with strong practical requirements,this paper studies and adds its own design case study,and summarizes the new conception of traditional Han Xiu pattern in element extraction,composition form and expression method.
