Safety Evaluation Method For Tourism Highway In Desert Area

Tourism is an important strategic pillar industry of the national economy,and highway is the precondition of its fundamental support and development.Under the background of the great development of tourism in the whole area and continuous pushing forward of safe traffic,This paper studies the characteristics and safety characteristics of tourism highway at home and abroad,on the basis of referring to the existing theory,principle and methods of highway safety evaluation,the theory principle and methods of highway safety evaluation is determined.In view of the particularity of highway safety in desert areas,the theory and standard of safety evaluation of special index is illustrated and explained.According to systems engineering,the application of comprehensive evaluation method is reasonable and feasible based on determining the index of safety evaluation of tourism highway in desert area.Through the establishment of evaluation system based on those index and the determination of weight index by AHP,this paper put forward the method and theoretical model of tourism highway safety evaluation by combining qualitative analysis and quantitative calculation.Take the safety evaluation in the feasibility stage of tourism highway from Daqintala to Baogutu construction as an example,the safety evaluation system model of tourism highway in desert area is applied to evaluate its safety through traffic volume survey,traffic composition statistics,major highway technical standards calculation and analysis.lastly the corresponding measures of safety improvement are proposed.
