With the development of China's social economy,pressure vessels in nuclear power,coal chemical,oil refining,petrochemical and other industries have shown a large-scale development trend,and new requirements have been placed on the manufacturing industry.At present,there are still gaps in the manufacturing capacity and level of large forgings in China,especially in the case of some high-end products under severe working conditions,which still cannot meet the requirements and become a bottleneck restricting China's major engineering construction and equipment manufacturing.The head and the barrel part are important parts of the pressure vessel,and the quality directly affects the life of the whole equipment.In this paper,the head and cylinder of large-scale large steam generators are taken as research objects,and the forming process of large steam generator heads is analyzed.The mold design of large steam generator head forming is performed by Deform-3D numerical simulation software.The forging process of the large steam generator was analyzed and simulated.The maps of the stress field,strain field,temperature field and velocity field of the head forging process were obtained and analyzed and discussed separately.The variation law of each process parameter variable in the forging process has certain guiding significance for guiding actual production.The process flow of the cylinder forgings on the steam generator was studied,the reasonable temperature range of the heat treatment process was given,and the material properties of the manufactured SA508-III forgings were analyzed in depth.
