The Research And Development Of Roller-skating Clothing Based On Thermal-wet Comfort

The roller-skating clothing is a kind of professional sports wear for professional or amateur skaters.The skaters would produce large amounts of sweat and heat since keeping on moving of their upper limbs and lower extremities.The thermal-wet comfort of roller-skating clothing directly impacts the performance of skaters.This research focuses on the research and development of roller-skating clothing by analyzing the skills and sweat distribution of skaters for selecting and splicing the excellent comprehensive properties of woven fabrics.The thermal-wet comfort of roller-skating clothing is evaluated according to the subjective and objective evaluation of habilimented skaters.Based on the requirements of roller-skating and differential distribution of thermal-wet on skaters,this thesis applies different woven fabrics on thermal-wet and splices them for providing theoretical foundation and practice introductions on improving the thermal-wet comfort of roller-skating clothing.Firstly,by the means of questionnaire survey and expert interviews,the demands of target customers about roller-skating clothing are analyzed.According to the results,five commonly used woven fabrics of sportswear and casual are chose.The physical performances and thermal-wet performances of five woven fabrics are tested.The differences of five woven fabrics’ thermal-wet transfer performances are compared and reasons are analyzed.Then,according to the sweat distribution on body surface and the requirements of roller-skating skills for activity spaces of different body parts,we splice the selected woven fabrics with different combining forms for satisfying the thermal-wet comfort requirements of different body parts and acquiring the best combining form on thermal-wet comfort.Four roller-skating clothing are made based on combining forms with different woven fabrics splice with the exact same style,plate and size.Eventually,the four roller-skating clothing are evaluated on thermal-wet comfort by body wear experiments.The experiments test the subjective feelings and physical signs of subjects with the scenarios of sitting,skating and recovering.The subjective feelings evaluate the roller-skating clothing of each phase,including fitness,elasticity,thickness,softness,pendency,stuffiness,wet,viscidity,coolness,warmness,flexibility,portability and overall comfort evaluation.The physical signs test the skin temperatures of each phase.The results of experiments show that the 1# and 2# roller-skating clothing have more advantages in thermal-wet comfort.
