Currently,the building energy efficiency increasing people's attention.Improving the thermal insulation performance of buildings is an important building energy-saving measure.Reflective insulation coating as a novel construction material,not only can play a role in building decorative landscaping,but also has good thermal insulation effect,heat or cooling can reduce energy consumption in buildings.Therefore,it is important to study the preparation of coatings that can reduce or even prevent solar radiation and reduce energy loss.The choice of fillers in thermal insulation coatings is very important.In this study,hollow glass microspheres coated with titanium dioxide were used as adiabatic fillers to prepare composite thermal insulation fillers with a combination of reflection and barrier properties.In order to increase the surface coverage of the hollow glass microspheres,the surface was hydroxylated using a piranha solution.Using butyl titanate and anhydrous ethanol as raw materials,glacial acetic acid as a chelating agent,the surface of hollow glass microspheres was encapsulated by sol-gel method,and the modified hollow glass microspheres were analyzed.The nano-TiO2 modified hollow glass microspheres are used as the main thermal insulation filler.A styrene-acrylic emulsion was used as a film former,and a small amount of dispersing agent,leveling agent,filming aid,defoamer and other surfactants were added to prepare a nano thermal insulation coating with excellent performance.And its product formula composition and basic performance were studied.The results show that when the reaction temperature is 60 ? and calcined at 800 ?for 2 h at high temperature,the surface of the glass microspheres is uniformly coated by SEM and XRD,and most of the glass microspheres are intact,and the coating effect is satisfactory.The desired rutile titanium dioxide was successfully prepared;the atomic percent of the HGM/TiO2 surface was analyzed by EDS to be 10.84%.Through the self-made heat insulation system,the maximum temperature difference can reach 10?,the thermal conductivity is reduced to 0.1698 W/(m K),the reflection ratio is 0.8231,and the coating adhesion,acid resistance and alkali resistance have reached the national standard.The insulation coating meets 'GB/T 25261-2010 building reflective insulation coating' and 'GB/T 9755-2001 synthetic resin emulsion paint' national standard performance index.The coating has a certain market application value.
