One of the most important allergen is House Dust Mite(HDM)allergen,which is ubiquitous in the home environment.Its dangerous effects are mainly reflected in allergens that can be found in the feces of dust mites and in saliva.This study conducted a cross-sectional survey of 7336 families in Tianjin city and Cangzhou village,and then the environmental inspection and house dust collection of 410households were carried out.The following results were obtained:(1)The concentration of Der f 1 was higher than Der p 1 in Tianjin district;(2)HDM allergens in Tianjin district had seasonal variation:the highest concentration level was in the autumn and winter,and the lowest level of allergen was in summer;(3)There was a positive relationship between high level of humidity and low concentration of HDM allergens,while high level of air change rate can reduce concentration of HDM allergen;(4)Building dampness was related to a concentration of HDM allergen.The signs of visible mold and visible damp stain can significantly increase concentration of HDM allergens;(5)In Tianjin urban,the concentration of HDM allergens in homes that is bigger than 100m~2 was higher than in homes with smaller size.Moreover,in Cangzhou village homes with PVC framed windows,with double pane glass window have significantly higher concentration of HDM allergens;(6)High concentration of HDM allergens was positive associated with mattress with a long period of using;(7)Cleaning the child's room everyday,open window frequently and sun-cure the bedding frequently can decrease concentration of HDM allergens;(8)In Tianjin city,exposure to concentration of Der 1 more than 2000.0ng/g significantly increased the risk of rhinitis ever,adjusted odds ratio(AOR):2.35.Exposure to concentration of Der f 1 more than 2000.0ng/g significantly increased the risk of rhinitis ever,AOR:2.26.In Cangzhou village,exposure to concentration of Der 1 more than 917.9ng/g was positively associated with the diagnosed eczema,AOR:3.98.
