The sliding sleeve ballseat is an important component part in the staged fracturing for open hole horizontal wells.The erosion reduces the sealability between ball and sliding sleeve ballseat,resulting in the failure of the staged fracturing.This paper summarized the common erosion models at home and abroad,and then according to their method this research group summarized a set of erosion model,which is suitable for the actual sliding sleeve ballseat material and the actual construction conditions,by the method of experiment.This paper used the Fluent software and the suit erosion models to simulate the erosion of the sliding sleeve ballseat under the support of the theory of computer fluid dynamics(CFD).the material of the sliding sleeve ballseat is cast iron(SG)and WC,and calculated the change of pore size with time and the critical failure time under different pressure at the boundary between the conical surface and the cylinder surface.This provides a strong basis for site selection.In order to effectively avoid the failure of the process of fracturing due to the erosion of sliding sleeve ballseat,this paper optimized the flow channel structure by changing the taper angle of the sliding sleeve ballseat and adding the flow structure to improve the anti-wear performance.The results show that,when the cone angle is from 20 degree to 30 degree,the erosion rate of the sliding sleeve ballseat is lower.the critical failure time of the sliding sleeve ballseat can be extended effectively.The five kinds of flow structures can effectively reduce the erosion rate,greatly improve the service life of the sliding sleeve ballseat,and the cone erosion rate is lower when position of flow structures is farther from cone.This study provides a way to solve the problem of failure caused by erosion of sliding sleeve ballseat,and supplies a certain theoretical guidance for the fracturing construction site.
