Research On The Development Strategy Of S Group Corporation

Energy problem is one of the most prominent problems in human society since the 21 th Century.Energy companies,which have a traditional coal,oil and other fossil fuel based energy production and supply system faced many challenges.The energy supply situation and the increasingly exacerbated environmental problems of the extensive use of fossil fuels urgently require the change of existing development strategy in energy enterprises to a new energy system with the development of new energy and new technology innovation as the fundamental construction.In this context,the local energy enterprise groups will play an important role in the process of strategic transformation and in the overall situation of China’s energy development strategy.SDEG group is a state-owned company and a leading enterprise of coal industry in Shandong Province.It is based on the coal industry,focusing on coal,electric power,coal chemical industry and other related industries.It is committed to the development of the comprehensive energy holding group with a certain international influence.At present,China is in a critical period of transformation and upgrading,together with kinetic energy conversion.The domestic economy is basically stable.But there are still a lot of risk factors in the world economy.The process of the revive for global economy is hard.In this background,it is very important for the SDEG group to develop a scientific and effective development strategy and strong strategic management plan.This article discussed development strategy in several aspects of current strategic status survey,future strategic objectives,the key points of strategic formulation and the key steps of strategic decision making.It also analyzed the overall company level strategy,functional level strategy and assistant strategic planning for enterprise development.Meanwhile,the PEST method,five forces model and SWOT analysis method are used to analyze external environment and internal resources of SDEG group.The security system is constructed to ensure that the group company’s strategy can be implemented successfully.The goal of the study is to help SDEG group to cope with changes of the external and internal conditions,to improve the strategic level,and take the road of sustainable development.Basing on a lot of previous research on the energy industry and the integration on the strategic management theory and strategic management method,this article solved some reality strategic problems in the process of the development of enterprise groups to be used for the actual operation of the enterprise strategy development and further expanding of the enterprise strategic management theory.In addition,through this study,I hope to be able to provide management practice reference for other energy companies.
