| The word “Jin Kuang Bao Tian " first appeared in the literature of the Tang Dynasty,which is a crafts of combining granulation with setting.This kind of crafts was very popular in Tang Dynasty,which was reflected in archaeological objects,ancient literature and images.It has a variety of shapes and is widely used,and it has similarities and differences with other crafts of the same period,such as Baotian,Huatian,Jin(Yin)tian,Naozhuang,Baozhuang and so on.Although this crafts was prevalent in the Tang Dynasty,it began to be popular in the pre-Qin Dynasty to Han Dynasty,which was characterized by the transformation from absorbing foreign cultures to localization.In the Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties,there were two characteristics: inheriting the craft of Han Dynasty and developing toward localization,and being influenced by Xianbei culture.Furthermore,from the research on the arrangement characteristics of the granulation and the decorative patterns,gemstone types,gemstone cutting and adhesive of the setting in the "Jin Kuang Bao Tian" crafts of the Tang Dynasty,it can be seen that the Tang Dynasty crafts inherits the characteristics of the previous generation and absorbed foreign cultures,and gradually formed its unique aesthetic taste.In addition,from the background of the exchanges between European and Asian civilizations at the time,"Jin Kuang Bao Tian" crafts originated in the eastern Mediterranean coastal area around 1900 B.C.and was introduced into China via the Eurasian Steppe Road and the Silk Road through ethnic migration,tribute,travel and trade.From the perspectives of archaeology,anthropology and sociology,this paper makes an in-depth analysis of this crafts,trying to construct a history of the development of the “Jin Kuang Bao Tian” crafts under the background of the exchange of European and Asian civilizations.This is not only a history of the development of a golden crafts,but also a history of human civilization. |
