| Starting from the background of global warming and increasing resource consumption and taking the giant fast fashion brands(H&M,Zara and C&A)which are wasteful and polluted in today’s clothing and textile industry as examples, this paper analyses the burden of fast fashion in the upper, middle and lower reaches of the textile industry, and concludes the main reasons for the unsustainable existence of fast fashion brands.Based on these reasons and the concepts of Fast Fashion and Sustainable Design and though comparing the current situation at home and abroad, the exploration and preliminary attempts of Fast Fashion Brands in the field of sustainable development under the pressure of public opinion are analyzed.Taking the global sustainable development report as the carrier, the measures of Fast Fashion Brand in the field of sustainable development are summarized and taking "cradle to cradle" as the goal,a theoretical model of future sustainable development is put forward from multiple perspectives. On the basis of this model, the design method of upgrading and re-engineering in the concept of "zero waste" in the downstream of clothing and textile industry is preliminarily explored, and the concept of sustainable design is further strengthened in the form of practice. |
