Since 1990 s,water cutting is called four modern cutting technology with laser,ion beam and electron beam.Water-jet cutting machine is the typical application of water cutting technology.Supercharger is the core of water-jet cutting machine and the source of cutting power.During working,the key pressure structural parts of supercharger bear continuous,periodic and alternating high water pressure,influencing whole water-jet cutting machine.Therefore,it is necessary to start static analysis,modal analysis,structural optimization and fatigue life prediction for key high pressure structural parts.The key high pressure structural parts’ structural design have features of serialization.So the development of a special parametric analysis and optimization system can greatly reduce modeling work and improve the efficiency of analysis.Finite element method is frequently used in the design of components.Typical commercial software are ANSYS,ABAQUS,HyperWorks and so on,which based on finite element method.However,the operation of finite element software usually complex and users should know basic knowledge of finite element.Besides,many components designed in the project have common structure with different size.It will be inefficient and repetitive if building every finite element model with the same structure.So using the language APDL provided by ANSYS,developing the parametric finite element analysis and optimization system based on water-jet machine’s key high pressure structure parts to accelerate speed of CAE analysis and shorten the cycles of design.The high-pressure structural part of water-jet machine provided by cooperated enterprise is researched in this paper.According to its structural characteristics and demands of analysis and optimization,the parametric analysis and optimization system of water-jet machine’s key high-pressure structural part is developed with MFC.Followings are contents of this paper:1.According to the working condition of high-pressure structural part and demands of engineer,determine the analysis and optimization requirements of this system.Choosing a tool to develop the system,designing the process and principle of the system.Besides,design the overall structure of the system and its functional modules.2.Design the plan of parametric and building geometric model for each parts with APDL language.According to the requirements of analysis and optimization,finish the parametric analysis and optimization finite program.3.Using MFC language to realize the system according to the system architecture,working principle and process under visual studio.Besides,using ACCESS to store the calculation results and system information.Finally,using the geometric parameters and working conditions of the key high-pressure structures,provided by enterprise,a calculation example is carried out to verify the feasibility of the system.
