With the increasingly fierce market competition,the aluminum plate strip and foil quality standards are constantly improving.As the time for big data is coming,the collection and management and use of the production process data becomes more and more important,which is key to improve the production management and quality management for manufacturing enterprises.Rolling industry is a typical process industry.The production process is continuous.Besides,automatic control system and high precision detection equipment such as profile gaugemeter,plate shape meter produce massive amounts of data,If the production process data is collected,Further combinatory analysis and data mining can effectively enhance the stability of process control,improve the quality of plate strip and foil production and promote the level of enterprise management.Information technology application contributes to analyses and statistics of mass dynamic data.A alumminum company's 70% products are exported to the United States market,In order to meet customer demand for high quality of hot rolled aluminum strip products,the company imports some high-accuracy measurement instruments like profile gaugemeter and technically upgrade the profile gaugemeter and plate thickness control system for the three-stranded hot rolling production line,Therefore,the improvement of the finished product rate and the quality of the process control put forward new requirements,which is to realize the quality data online monitoring,data analysis and tracing functions.This paper is based on MESTA four-high and three-stand irreversible hot rolling mill of A Aluminum Corporation.In consideration of the actual needs,WinCC7.0 is selected as the development platform.First,using the "5M1E" method to analyze the rolling process,and then using the key success factors method to determine the key factors affecting the quality.Second,combining the analysis of functional requirements of the system,five function modules are designed,which are data archiving management,production process management,production report management,quality information tracking and fault alarm management.Besides,the database is analyzed and designed.On this basis,volume number,alloy number and the relevant rolling process information by the time variable are recorded and analysed,the product quality traceability is founded.At last,using the VBScript language and ADO technique,the function modules of rolling process Quality Management Information System(QMIS)are realized,the thickness data recorded in the database is statistically analyzed in method of control chart.The system has been put into practice;it further proves the feasibility of the system.
