| With the cultivar Jinshennong No.1 as research material,the effects of spraying potassium preparation on combustion and quality of flue-cured tobacco were studied after topping,measured the content and the ratio of K+,Cl-,SO42-,analyzed the variety of tobacco combustion,tobacco quality indexes and observed the ultrastructure of the middle leaves with the process matrity.the main conclusions were as follows:1.After topping,the content and the ratio of K+,Cl-,SO42-after spraying potassium preparation,results showed that: the content of K+ after spraying potassium preparation was higher than the control,and T1 was in the highest level,compared with the control,the increase of the lower leaves was 223.7%,the increase of the middle leaves was 74.3% the increase of the upper leaves was 72.4%,the content of Cl-after spraying Potassium preparations treatment were lower than the control,the content of Cl-of different leaves had no significant difference between the treatments,but T1 was the minimum;The influence rule of SO42-content of flue-cured tobacco was not obvious between the treatments,but the content of SO42-of each treatment was in the proper range;for K+/Cl-,the increase of the lower leaf was 326.3%,the increase of the middle leaf was 129.3%,the increase of the upper leaf was 127.1%,the ratio of K+/Cl-was expressed as T1 >T2>T3>T4>T0 in various parts of tobacco.Compared with the control,the treatments of spraying Potassium preparations after topping could improve the ratio of K+/(Cl-+ SO42-),and T1 was maximum,theincrease of the lower leaf was 284.9%,the increase of the middle leaf was 114.4%,the increase of the upper leaf was 114.6%,the ratio of K+/(Cl-+ SO42-)was expressed as T1 >T2>T3>T4>T0 in various parts of tobacco.2.After topping,the combustion of flue-cured tobacco after spraying potassium preparation were analyzed.the results showed that: compared with the control,the treatments of spraying potassium preparation significantly increased smoldering time,and the improvement of T1 was the most significant;for parts,smoldering time of the middle leaves was the longest,the lower leaves was shortest,the upper leaves was middle.organic potassium index can be comprehensive characterization of various ions,in general the value is bigger,showing tobacco combustion is the better,organic potassium index after spraying potassium preparation were higher than the control,and the T1 was the highest,the performance for the T1>T2>T3>T4>T0.3.After topping,the quality indexes of flue-cured tobacco after spraying Potassium preparations were analyzed,the results showed that: the appearance quality of tobacco leaves had been improved after spraying potassium preparation;treatments of spraying Potassium preparations could improve length,width,single leaf weight,anti tension,Leaf density,reduce the rate of leaf stalk,optimalize the filling value,and T1 treatment was the the most significant;To a certain extent,treatments of spraying potassium preparation could improve the content of total sugar and reducing sugar,reduce content of nicotine,respectively,for the performance of T1>T2>T3>T4>T0 and T0>T4>T3>T2>T1,the ratio of reducing sugar and nicotine was a index of acid-base balance,acid or alkali might reflect poorly on its smoke flavor and envy,the ratio of reducing sugar and nicotine was expressed as T1>T2>T3>T4>T0,and in the appropriate range.For neutral aroma substances,maillard reaction products,aromatic amino acid degradation products,products degraded by carotene,class of cembratriendiol catabolite,neophytadiene,and total neutral aroma components of T1 treatment was the highest,for the performance of T1>T2>T3>T4>T0,in particular,such as furfural,phenethyl alcohol phenylacetaldehyde,solanone,neophytadiene showed the rules mentioned above,the rule of other aroma substances in the different treatment were not obvious;Forsensory quality characteristics,the total score of the upper leaves,middle leaves evaluation were expressed as T1 > T3 > T2 > T4 > T0,the performance for the aroma quality better,the fuller aroma,jealous pure and mild,miscellaneous gas lighter,more comfortable,medium combustion,medium gray,but the upper leaves had more irritation generally,the middle leaves had less irritation,more aftertaste,the total score of lower leaves existed T1 > T3 > T4 > T2 > T0.4.The ultrastructures of the middle leaves with the process maturity were observed,the results showed that: after topping,leaf cell structure of the palisade of spraying potassium promotion preparation was better than the control,which T1 was the best,the performance of starch grains in large volume and more content,larger osmiophilic granules and more content,less thylakoids content.From the topping period and spraying potassium preparation dosage on the impact of combustion and quality,the perfect period was the same day,the perfect dosage was W1,for topping period and spraying potassium dosage on the contribution of quality,the topping period was the more,in short,the improvement effect of tobacco combustion and quality was the most when spraying the W1 potassium dosage on the same day after
