| The environmental risk problem is increasingly prominent,which has become the focus of our government’s crisis management.While it is too difficult for media to eliminate the gap between the risk fact and the public’ s risk perception in old up and down broadcasting model,mass media as the mediation of risk communication has undertaken the function of a platform for dialogue between the public and the risk stakeholders,and has become a key link in the process of promoting democracy.Therefore,how mass media will present environmental risk and enlighten the public’s sense of participation in environmental protection,and promote democratization of the government decision-making has a research value of the subject.In this paper we take the haze as an example,and case analysis is uses to analysis traditional media,social media and smog documentary Under the Dome are how to present the haze issue.This paper is divided into five parts around the research purpose.The first part is the introduction,including the thesis background,the research present situation,the research methods and so on.In haze weather events,because traditional media has present the haze issue at the earliest,the second part at first analyzes traditional medias’ frame types and its changes,and the discourse practice about the issue.The third part analyzes frame types and discourse features in the social media.The fourth part analyzes smog documentary Under the Dome from the perspective of risk communication strategies and their effects.This study argued that sustainability reporting of the traditional media to risk issues,diversity of framework,visualization and magnify of discourse affect risk cognition of the public,but due to limited by official mainstream ideology,the traditional media presented and shield the risk at the same time.The interactivity of social media promoted the public participation,and smog documentary Under the Dome hazed a nationwide mobilization,cultivated the social rationality.The study found that sustainability reporting,active involvement of the public and the government’ s timely response was an important factor in risk communication and public decision-making democratization. |
