1,3-dihydroxyacetone,widely used as the pharmaceutical,agrochemical synthesis and functional additives,is the simplest structure of ketose compounds.It has special advantage of 1,3-dihydroxyacetone production by fermentation,such as the high output(product concentration),simple process,high substrate utilization rate and easy process control etc..The extraction of 1,3-dihydroxyacetone is very difficult with low yield of extraction and unstable quarlity,because the aqueous solution of 1,3-dihydroxyacetone has high viscosity and poor thermal stability,complex by-product,which limit the development of 1,3-dihydroxyacetone producing.Therefore,it has the significant meaning of research in extracting process.The microfiltration membrane filtration process,nanofiltration membrane filtration process,concentration process,crystallization process,crystal growth kinetics were investigated in this paper,and 1000t/a 1,3-dihydroxyacetone production factory was designed.The main results of this paper were as follows:(1)The 0.1 ?m pore size of PVDF microfiltration membrane was used to remove cells from fermentation broth effectively with 96.3%of 1,3-dihydroxyacetone yield;(2)The NF-270 nanofiltration membrane was used to decolor microfiltration fluid.The operation condition was the filtering pressure 0.8 MPa,temperature 25?,and the yield of 1,3-dihydroxyacetone was 95.2%;(3)The condition of crystallization process was focused in the paper.Ethanol was chosen as solvent and volume ratio was 0.7 to apply the crystallization process.Temperature control method was subsection cooling,the cooling rate was 0.17oC/h from 14 C to 8?;the cooling rate was 0.25?/h from 8? to 2?;the cooling rate was 0.5?/h from 2? to-4?.The total yield of crystallization process was 76.5%.Crystal appearance was white and the purity of crystal was 98.2%.The whole process of extraction was 70.1%.(4)The 1,3-dihydroxyacetone crystal growth kinetics was invesgated.At 6?,the crystal nucleation rate kinetic order and growth rate kinetic order ratio was i=1.086.(5)An annual output of 1000t 1,3-dihydroxyacetone process design was carried out in this work,the design main contents included technological process design,equipment selection etc.,the material,heat,water balance and the economic benefits of production cost of 1,3-dihydroxyacetone were calcuated.
