Spray drying tower has a wide range of applications in the food industry,pharmaceutical industry,ceramic industry,dye industry and other fields,it is applied to the dairy industry of milk powder production.The types of spray drying equipments are pressure spray drying equipment,rotary spray drying equipment,flow air spray drying equipment,at present,vertical pressure spray drying tower is the most popular.The vertical pressure spray drying tower connected with fluidized bed,cyclone separator and bag filter is a multi-stage sectional spray drying equipment,it can implement the drying of the same kind of material,the air enter the spray drying tower from above and exhaust from above,produce the products that meet the requirements of product quality.With the application of RGYP03-3000 type vertical pressure spray drying tower in milk powder production of Baiyue Shanxi as an example,design on the form of the air enter and exhaust the spray drying tower provides technical parameters for the following design or the development of new products.In this paper,the form of the air enter and exhaust spray drying tower,hot bellows,spray system were studied.According to the known parameters and air condition parameters,by heat balance and general procedure,calculating the air volume of fan is 70725 m3/h when the air enter the spray drying tower,inlet pipe diameter is 1.4 m,heater heat transfer area is 2636.2 m2,air filter area is 14.15 m2;the main air duct diameter is 0.916 m;Nozzle aperture is 5 mm;the air volume of fan is106194 m3/h when the air exhaust the spray drying tower,outlet pipe diameter is 4m,the main exhaust duct diameter is 1.7 m;consumption of the heating steam is 7362 kg/h.This design,the guide wind panel in hot bellows can evenly distribution of the air volume,make the hot air evenly into the drying tower and drying speed of droplets was even in the spray drying tower.Try to innovation,installing three guide wind panels at the bottom of the main air duct to control the even uniform distribution of air flux.The space at the bottom of the main duct is divided into four sections and the area of the four sections are equal,and determine the installation position of the guide wind panel by calculation.
