The products of manganese were widely used in the iron and steel,metallurgy,chemical industry,light industry,electronic materials,agriculture and other departments.It almost involved all aspects of human production and life.With the rapid growth of the world demand for manganese products,the medium to high grade manganese ore resources cannot meet the needs of the market.It has been more important to leaching manganese from low grade manganese ore with lower cost.In recent years,the natural organic which used as reductant for leaching low-grade pyrolusite has been more valued for its low cost,renewable,energy conservation and environmental protection adcantages.However,the problem has been happened after some electrolytic manganese producers adopt this method.The andote plate can be serious corrosion by the chioride ions which come from organics and accumulated to 1000 mg/L in the recycle of liquid anode.Hence,it must be reduced chloride ions in manganese electrochemical solution.In the study,the effect of chloride ions removal in the manganese electrochemical solution which used cane molasses as reducing by using CuCl precipitation and the chloride ions removal in Ion resin eluent oxidation by potassium permanganate method was investigated.In the experiments of chloride ions removal by using CuCl precipitation in manganese electrochemical solution.Orthogonal and single-factor experiments were employed to examine the influences of reaction temperature,reaction time,chalcanthite dosage and powdered iron dosage on the dechlorinate effect.The results showed that the chalcanthite dosage has a great effect on removal rate.And the appropriate dechlorinate conditions were:reaction temperature 40?,reaction time 30min,chalcanthite 30.0 g/L,powdered iron is 3.0 g/L.By this way,we can get the removal rate about 60.8%.In research on the chloride ions removal in Ion resin eluent oxidation by potassium permanganate method.To join zeolite and boiling the solution can be effectively improve the chloride ions removal rate;Orthogonal and single-factor experiments were employed to examine the influences of potassium permanganate concentration,H2SO4 concentration,reaction temperature,boiling time on the dechlorinate effect.The orthogonal experiments showed that KMnO4 concentration has a largest influence on removal rate.Then were boiling time and H2SO4 concentration.To compare the actual situation,the appropriate conditions were boiling time 10 min,H2SO4 concentration 65-70 g/L(add 30 g/L),KMnO4 consumption of chlorine ion is about 1 times.Under the condition,the removal rate of Cl-can get above 90%.Meanwhile,through the contrast test,it testified that the dechlorinate rate in constant pressure is better than vacuum distillation.
