Water,as the basic resource for human beings and other living things,plays an important role in social and economic development.Nowadays,the research on water ecological carrying capacity has become a hot topic in ecological environment.Based on the "three red lines" proposed in the strictest water resources management system,this paper constructs the water ecological carrying capacity calculation model based on the " three red lines" of water resources management,water resources carrying capacity and water environment carrying capacity by improving the traditional water resources carrying capacity and water environment carrying capacity calculation model,and makes an empirical analysis on the research area of Hehuang region,comprehensively determines the water ecological carrying capacity and the water ecological problems existing in the future,and puts forward the corresponding development countermeasures and suggestions.The full text is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which introduces the background,research purpose,research significance and research progress at home and abroad,determines the technical route of the article,and expounds the research content of the article,introduces the article's research methods and data sources.The second chapter is the theoretical basis of water ecological carrying capacity,mainly from the connotation of water ecological carrying capacity,development process,characteristics and influencing factors of four aspects.The third chapter focuses on the analysis of the current situation of the water resources and water environment in Hehuang region,focusing on the natural geographical characteristics,socio-economic development level,urbanization level,water resources,water environment and ecological environment of Hehuang region,mainly through the analysis of the current water efficiency and water structure,determine the water-saving capacity and water resources carrying capacity,analysis of the sewage capacity and the current situation of grey water quantity.The fourth chapter evaluates the water ecological carrying capacity of the Hehuang region,analyzes the water resources carrying capacity and the water environmental carrying capacity in the Hehuang region,and finally,through the joint constraints of water resources carrying capacity and water environment carrying capacity,the water ecological carrying capacity of Hehuang region in 2020 and 2030 can be obtained.The fifth chapter is the conclusion and prospect,summarizes the research content and related results,explains the imperfect work and proposes the next research direction.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The spatial distribution of water resources in Hehuang region is uneven and the utilization efficiency of water resources is relatively low.The rivers with serious water pollution in the region are mainly distributed in Qinghai region,and 47% of the rivers are polluted at present.(2)By 2020 and 2030,the amount of water saving in Hehuang region was 5.99×108m3 and 15.27×108m3 respectively,of which 77.79% and 83.30% were agricultural water saving.(3)The occurrence of ammonia nitrogen gray water in Hehuang region is larger than its water environmental capacity,and the occurrence of chemical oxygen demand and ammonia nitrogen gray water produced by livestock breeding is greater than that of chemical oxygen demand and ammonia nitrogen discharged by urban residents' life and industrial production.(4)Through agricultural water-saving and industrial water-saving,the current water resources or water supply capacity of most counties(districts)in Hehuang region is sufficient to meet the water demand in 2020 and 2030.(5)As the water environment in Hehuang region is already overloaded,the water environment in Hehuang will be further deteriorated in the next 15 years under the current pollutant discharge level and sewage treatment level,and its water environment carrying capacity is only 64.40% of the total population by 2030.(6)By 2020 and 2030,the water ecological carrying capacity of the Hehuang region will be 1124.74×104 people and 1086.83×104 people,respectively.
