Study On The Dress Of Buddhist Statues In Qingzhou During The Wei, Jin, Southern And Northern Dynasties

Buddhist statues are an important manifestation of Chinese Buddhist art.As an important discovery of Chinese archaeology in the 20 th century,more than 20 years have passed since the discovery of Buddha statues in Qingzhou,Shandong province.The archaeological discovery has prompted a large number of archaeologists to pay attention to the Buddha statues in Qingzhou and to study them from their own perspectives on issues of personal concern.Most of the Buddha statues in Qingzhou,Shandong Province,were built from the Northern Wei period to the Northern Song Dynasty,and their exquisite shape and unique style have great research value for the development of Chinese Buddhist art and the evolution of styling style.The Buddha statues of Qingzhou cellar show the characteristics of stone carving Buddhist statues in the Wei,Jin,southern and Northern Dynasties,especially the performance of clothing patterns is more obvious.The Buddha statue of Qingzhou has a changeable style and a large time span,among which the main Buddha statues in the southern and Northern Dynasties,this period is also the first prosperous period of Chinese Buddhist art,the image of Buddha and Bodhisattva solemn and solemn,elegant and exquisite,beautifully carved,in the clothing clothing,close to the Buddha Statue body map,there are high and low changes,The ups and downs with the body shape changes and rich in a certain sense of rhythm and rhythm,in addition to showing the shape of thin and permeable form characteristics,clothing using bright and beautiful colors.In the line,clothing color and clothing decorative features of the most beautiful state,is obviously affected by the Northern Wei dynasty in the southern and Northern Dynasties style.At the same time,it is influenced by the confluence of Buddhist culture with exotic countries such as the lion state.As a result,the shape characteristics of the stone statues in Qingzhou also have some Gupta style features of Indian Buddhist images.Based on the comparison and analysis of stone statues in other areas,this paper analyzes the evolution state of the Buddha statues of the stone carvings in Qingzhou in the Wei and Jin dynasties,so as to understand and recognize the formation of Buddha’s dress style.
