In order to expand the application range of furniture-type MDF,extend the service life of the board,reduce wood consumption,achieve environmental protection and energy saving,the newly developed modified water-resistant adhesive,eucalyptus,and miscellaneous wood are used as raw materials to prepare moisture-proof cabinet type medium density fiberboard,in this paper.And determine the performance index of the adhesive,the mechanical properties of the moisture-proof fiberboard and the moisture resistance.At the same time,the production line was used for the trial production of 15 mm and 18mm moisture-proof medium density fiberboard with new water-resistant urea-formaldehyde resin adhesive.This paper draws the following conclusions:(1)The preparation process of the novel water-resistant modified urea-formaldehyde resin adhesive is simple and easy,and does not need to change the original rubber production equipment.In China,the use of excessive melamine to prepare water-resistant urethane resin adhesives is intense,the viscosity increases rapidly,and gel problems,unstable moisture resistance,and formaldehyde emission levels fail to reach the E,level were all solved.(2)The 15mm moisture-proof fiberboard was laboratory-produced,the density was 749.17g/cm3,the MOR was 46.97 MPa,the IB was 0.877 MPa,the TS24h was 4.65%,and the MOR after 70 ? water soaking was 14.83 MPa,the IB after boiling test was 0.233 MPa,the Fy was 0.120 mg/m3;The 18mm moisture-proof fiberboard was laboratory-produced,the density was 749.5g/cm3,the MOR was 34 MPa,the IB was 1.4 MPa,the TS24h was 5.5%,and the MOR after 70 ? water soaking was 10.6 MPa,the IB after boiling test was 0.195 MPa,the Fy was 0.117 mg/m3.Problems such as the hardness of the explosive plate,the hardness of the plate,the brittleness and the poor boring and milling performance during the hot pressing process were solved,Its physical mechanics is superior to ordinary MDF.The product can fully meet the production requirements of cabinet furniture such as veneering,slotting,boring and milling.It is easy to achieve continuous and stable production of moisture-proof medium density fiberboard.(3)Moisture-proof medium density fiberboard products were tested by the Forest Products Quality Inspection and Testing Center of the State Forestry Administration(Nanning).Its physical and mechanical properties meet the requirements of the national standard GB/T 11718-2009;Its formaldehyde emission was less than 0.124 mg/m3,meeting the national standard GB 185 80-2017 E1 requirements;Its moisture-proof performance meets the requirements of the furniture type medium density fiberboard used in the national GB/T 11718-2009 wet state.
