Study On The Legal Issues Of Medical Waste Disposal In China

The rapid development of science and technology has brought innovation to the development of medical and health industry,meanwhile,the continuous improvement of medical level brings convenience to the masses,more and more medical waste is produced,too.If handled it unreasonable,the accumulated harmful substances in medical waste will thus seep into the environment,harm to hunman health.In recent years,due to improper treatment of medical waste,social events have occurred frequently,has threatened the safety of the public.Therefore,the management of medical waste disposal can not be ignored.Through the previous research literature and case data analysis,so far,most cities in China have recognized the importance of medical waste disposal and formulated corresponding medical waste disposal mechanism,however,there are still some cases in which individual hospitals mix medical waste with household waste for the convenience of treatment,and public awareness of the hazards of clinical waste is lacking,infectious diseases from contact with clinical waste are highly likely to occur.Today,the amount of medical waste only increases,so does the probability of medical risks.At present,China has not passed legislation to help improve the components of the medical waste disposal mechanism,specifically,it is reflected in the lack of relevant laws and regulations,the unclear power and responsibility interaction between administrative departments,the imperfect public supervision mechanism,etc.The research on the legal system of medical waste disposal management has become a key issue that cannot be underestimated.In this article,the main analysis of China's existing legal system for the treatment of medical waste provisions.Firstly,the current situation and existing problems of medical waste disposal in China's current legislative system are analyzed;Secondly,it briefly introduces the complete laws related to medical waste disposal in Japan and the UK as a reference for this study;Finally,some feasible Suggestions are put forward:first,we will improve the legislative system,second,formulate specific medical waste disposal system according to the law,Third,the construction of auxiliary public supervision and administrative supervision mechanism.So as to achieve the fundamental goal of legal management of medical waste.
