With the rapid development of China’s economy, the output of agricultural products is increasing, and the emission of agricultural waste is rising sharply, and the rapid development of breeding industry makes livestock and poultry waste become the main pollution source of non-point source pollution in China. The treatment of livestock and poultry manure by biogas fermentation can not only reduce environmental pollution, but also alleviate energy pressure,it is a typical way of energy utilization of agricultural waste.Farmers are not only the main body of livestock and poultry waste disposal, but also the main body of livestock waste energy utilization products.Their cognition and acceptance of livestock and poultry waste biogas utilization affect the smooth progress of livestock and poultry waste energy utilization. It can be seen that clarifying farmers’ real ideas on biogas utilization of livestock and poultry manure is very important to effectively promote the energy utilization of livestock and poultry manure, and thus to fight the key battle of pollution control in agricultural and rural areas. In view of this,on the basis of summarizing the relevant research results at home and abroad, this paper makes use of the micro-survey data of Yichang,Qianjiang,Xiangyang and Huanggang,Hubei Province,to find out farmers’ cognition of ecological value and willingness to pay for the energy utilization of livestock and poultry manure. On this basis, the key factors affecting farmers’ cognition of ecological value and willingness to pay are analyzed. Finally, according to the conclusion of the study, some suggestions are put forward to promote farmers’ active participation in the energy utilization of livestock and poultry waste. The main framework of the thesis is divided into six parts: introduction(Chapter I)),Conceptual definition and theoretical analysis(Chapter II),Status quo analysis of farmer’s ecological value cognition and willingness to pay(Chapter III),The influencing factors of farmers’ cognition of ecological value(Chapter IV),The influencing factors of farmers’ willingness to pay(Chapter V),and the main conclusions and policy recommendations(Chapter VI).The main conclusions are as follows:First,at present, farmers have a relatively high level of understanding of the ecological value of livestock and poultry manure biogas utilization. Most farmers can recognize the positive effect of livestock and poultry manure biogas utilization on the ecological environment, from the perspective of three dimensions of ecological value cognition.Farmers believe that the biogas utilization of livestock and poultry manure has more effect on the improvement of air than on the improvement of water quality and soil.Secondly, farmers have a higher willingness to pay for biogas products from livestock and poultry manure,73.20% of them have willingness to pay for biogas,and66.29% of them have willingness to pay forbiogas residue. The study found that farmersare willing to pay about 33.91 yuan per month for biogas and 30.67 yuan per month forbiogas residue.Third, through the analysis of the influencing factors of farmers’ ecological value cognition,it is found that the ecological expectation, the enthusiasm of ecological governance participation, the intensity of supervision and law enforcement, the villagers’ contact degree, the gender and the years of education have an impact on the farmers’ ecological value cognition.Forth,by analyzing the influencing factors of farmers’ willingness to pay,we find that ecological value perception has a positive impact on farmers’ willingness to pay,and ecological value perception as an intermediary variable has an important impact on farmers’ willingness to pay,and plays an intermediary role in ecological expectation, enthusiasm for participation in ecological governance, supervision and law enforcement and farmers’ willingness to pay.Farmers’ willingness to pay for biogas is also affected by ecological importance, pollution status, supervision and law enforcement, and villagers’ contacts.Farmers’ willingness to pay for biogas sludge is affected by ecological importance, pollution status, frequency of technical training, whether there are village rules and regulations, supervision and law enforcement and health status.Based on the research conclusion, this paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions from three aspects: improving farmers’ cognitive level, strengthening rural ecological governance and optimizing external supervision and incentive.First of all,it is necessary to improve the current situation of rural pollution, promote the communication between neighbors and villagers, strengthen publicity and guidance, and improve farmers’ awareness of the ecological environment.Secondly,it is necessary to arouse the enthusiasm of farmers to participate, make the rules and regulations of villages scientifically, increase the investment of financial funds, and strengthen the management of the ecological environment in rural areas.Thirdly,we should perfect the government supervision mechanism, strengthen the supervision and law enforcement, and optimize the ecological compensation mechanism. |
