Rural residential consolidation can improve land use rate,rural living environment and promote the construction of beautiful countryside.Scientifically and reasonably calculate the construction waste generated in the process of rural residential consolidation is an important part of calculating the cost of rural residential consolidation projects.At present,there are few reports on the calculation methods of construction waste about cave dwelling,the existing calculation methods of construction waste are not suitable for cave dwelling.Based on the calculation of potential of rural residential consolidation in Gaoyang Village,Xiaoyi City,Shanxi Province,this paper investigated the structure of building facilities and the characteristics of building materials in various types of land used in the rural residential that the main building cave dwelling,and put forward the formula for calculating construction waste of various types of land,and using the formula to calculate the construction waste generated in the process of rural residential consolidation of Gaoyang Village.The results were as follows:(1)Based on the analysis of the potential of rural residential consolidation in Gaoyang Village,it is concluded that the potential of rural residential consolidation was 13.4 hectares,among them: residential land area was 6.29 hectares,village infrastructure land area was 1.1 hectares,and other construction land area was 6.01 hectares.(2)By investigating the structure of building facilities and the characteristics of building materials in various types of land used in the rural residential,this paper put forward the calculation formulas of construction waste for residential land,village infrastructure land and other construction land.(3)Using the calculation formulas of construction waste put forward in this paper,the amount of construction waste produced by rural residential consolidation in Gaoyang Village was about 115,900 cubic meters.The amount of construction waste for residential land was 100,000 cubic meters,accounting for 86.58% of the total waste production;the amount of construction waste for village infrastructure land was 0.22 million cubic meters,accounting for 1.9% of total waste;the amount of construction waste for other construction land was 13,300 cubic meters,accounting for 11.52% of the total waste production.The formula for calculating the amount of construction waste in various types of land proposed in this study can be used to calculate the amount of construction waste in rural residential areas dominated by cave dwellings.
