In the exploitation of unconventional oil and gas reservoirs,hydraulic fracturing is used to increase oil and gas production due to low permeability of the formation matrix.After the fracturing is completed,most of the fracturing fluid will be returned to the ground.The treatment of the return fluid is an indispensable process after the completion of the oilfield fracturing operation.First,the solid phase fracturing sand in the return liquid is separated,and then the return liquid is subjected to gas-liquid separation.The separation of gas and liquid in the returning liquid is difficult and has important research significance.Gas-liquid separators commonly used in practice have poor adaptability to changes in gas-liquid ratio and flow rate.When the gas-liquid ratio and flow rate change,the engineering phenomenon of the separator "gas outlet outflow liquid,liquid outlet outflow gas" often occurs,and the separation effect is poor.In order to solve this problem,this paper designs a new type of float valve type gas-liquid separator based on engineering practice.In order to verify the separation effect of the new gas-liquid separator,the internal flow field of the gas-liquid separator was analyzed by CFD analysis method.Firstly,the three-dimensional modeling of the float valve is completed by SolidWorks.Then,the boundary conditions are determined according to the parameters under actual working conditions,and the internal flow field of the float valve is analyzed by Fluent software.Finally,the separator is studied when the structural parameters and operating parameters are changed and summarize the law.The simulation results show that the new float valve type gas-liquid separator can solve the engineering problems of "gas outlet outflow liquid,liquid outlet outflow gas".The separator has the characteristics of reasonable structural design and high gas-liquid separation.
