In July 2009,IMO proposed the new ship energy efficiency design index(EEDI),which is used to measure the energy efficiency of ships in order to achieve energy conservation and environmental protection.Therefore,ship lightweight design becomes inevitable,and structural optimization design is one of the important ways and means of lightweight research.As an efficient form of structural optimization,topology optimization has great development prospects in the field of shipbuilding.For the topic of topology optimization,this paper takes an oil tanker with a capacity of 110,000 tons as an example,and carries out topology optimization research based on the HCSR(Harmonized Common Structural Rules).The main contents of the study are as follows:1.Different topology optimization methods are compared via principles,mathematical models and applicability of each method.And a kind of topology algorithm which is suitable for hull structure will be chosen by optimization calculations of classical cantilever beam structure.2.A complete process of topology optimization technology for hull structure is summarized,and the general ship structure topology design method is obtained.Key aspects such as selection of topology optimization design domain and parametes related to topology are set.3.On the basis of SIMP algorithm,the plate of ship is optimized under simple load and yield constraint.The feasibility of topology optimization in hull structure design is proved by optimization calculation.At the same time,topology optimization configuration of beam structure is obtained;4.According to HCSR,a three-cabin finite element model is established.The three-cabin model of the tanker is subjected for strength checking.And the hull yield and buckling strength analysis are carried out respectively to judge whether there is a certain optimization space for the hull structure;5.Based on the topology optimization technical process of hull and Optistruct software under the Hyperworks platform,topology optimization will be calculated.In the process of topology,density of structural unit is set as the optimal variable and the lightest structural weight as the target.Under complex loads and constraints,the topology calculation and optimization design of the hull transverse frame structure are carried out.
