With the development of industry,the requirement of plastic material performance is increasing.The improvement of plastic material performance is inevitably inseparable from the mixing of continuous mixer,the mixing effect of material will cause certain influence to the using performance and life,while the mixing effect of the materials related to materials in the molten state,therefore,after mixing chamber preheating temperature distribution will influence the material mixing effect,in addition,the mixing section of the rotor structure of the rotor shaft of material mixing performance has important influence.In this paper,the structure and mixing mechanism of the continuous mixer are studied,and the temperature distribution of the mixing chamber and the mixing process of the continuous mixer are simulated and analyzed.The main research contents are as follows:First of all,the mixing process of the continuous mixer is theoretically analyzed.including the rotor screw arris role in conveying the material,material in dispersion mixing,rotor of the screw rotor screw arris intersection area edge shearing action of material through analysis it is concluded that the main factors influencing the mixing process,and the key parameters of the rotor shaft speed,the clearance between the rotor shaft and mixing interior wall,length of rotor screw arris intersection area,the discharging door opening and closing degree were analyzed,and provide theoretical basis for further structural design.Secondly,on the basis of theoretical derivation of mixing process,determine the key parts of the rotor shaft rotor diameter,length to diameter ratio,rotational speed,rotor length of screw arris intersection area,the clearance between the rotor shaft and the mixing chamber,the width of the rotor of the screw arris,feed section of the screw of the spiral groove depth calculated and some of the main parameters,such as left,right rotor shaft feeding period of screw pitch ratio,and determine the structure of mixing chamber,designed the structure of the continuous mixer.Thirdly,the 3d drawing software was used to establish the 3d model of the parts of the continuous mixer,and the assembly was carried out.ANSYS Workbench simulation analysis software was used to conduct steady-state thermodynamic analysis of the mixing chamber after preheating,so as to obtain the temperature distribution of the mixing chamber after preheating and the temperature of the mixing chamber meeting the mixing requirements.In addition,the steady-state thermal simulation analysis is carried out for the mixing chamber preheated at different external temperatures,and the adaptability of the heating system of the continuous mixer to different external environments is obtained based on the analysis results.Finally,the fluid simulation software ANSYS Fluent was used to conduct three-dimensional flow field simulation analysis on the mixing process of the continuous mixer,and the distribution of pressure field,velocity field,viscosity field and shear stress field was analyzed to obtain the mixing effect of the continuous mixer on materials.
