Research On Modernity Application Of Bamboo Lamp Design

As an intangible culture heritage,Chinese traditional bamboo weaving technology technology should be passed down from generation to generation,development and innovation.,Nowadays they are faced with the danger of losing their skills.How to better inherit and develop the traditional bamboo weaving technology is a major problem facing the current,and it is also the reason for studying modern design of traditional bamboo weaving lamps.In this paper,the modern application of traditional bamboo lamp design is taken as the research content.Firstly,through the analysis of the literature,this paper summarizes the current application of traditional bamboo weaving technology in the field of modern design and the lamp design.From the angle of individual inheritance and group inheritance,this paper analyzes the creative deeds and outstanding works of bamboo artists at home and abroad.Secondly,according to the concept of modernity in the design of bamboo lamps,modernity refers to innovative breakthroughs in form,concept,material properties,plastic arts and value research,but all innovations are based on traditional bamboo weaving techniques.Finally,the author investigates and studies the practical process of traditional bamboo weaving technology by visiting Yixian County,Anhui Province,and explores and analyses the factors affecting the design of bamboo weaving lamps and lanterns.These factors include:weave pattern,functions,material characteristic,structure form,light and shadow art,etc.The unique and innovative application of random braiding method is discussed according to the key point of braiding pattern;In order to control the physical properties of materials,an attempt to explore the fusion design of heterogeneous materials;According to the art of light and shadow and space environment,the practice of braiding pattern of lamp cover,texture of material,color of light source and so on combined with bamboo strip and bamboo filaments was carried out in practice.it is concluded that different weaving patterns,lampshade translucent materials and light source color have different effects on the shaping of space atmosphere.The article focuses on showing the design practice,creating four groups of works,combining the author’s creative experience,recording the practical process from the initial creation conception,the detailed scheme design to the real object.
