Study On Exposure Of Adjacent Phthalate In Indoor Air Of College Students

At present,phthalate pollution has become a hot topic in the field of environmental and health research.Phthalates,as endocrine disruptors,bring harm to people’s health.The research on phthalates in indoor environment in China has just started,and there is a lack of systematic and perfect research data and various relevant laws and regulations and health standards.In this study,active and passive sampling methods were used to carry out on-site sampling of phthalates in the air of the main indoor residence environment of college students(dormitory,home,classroom,office,laboratory and computer room),and the concentration of phthalates was detected.On-site sampling is divided into three seasons: spring,autumn and winter(April,October and December 2018).The concentration of phthalates in indoor air was discussed,the pollution characteristics were studied,and the health exposure risk was analyzed.The main conclusions of this study are as follows :(1)eight kinds of phthalate ester pollutants were detected in 102 samples,among which the most important ones were diisobutyl phthalate(DIBP),din-butyl phthalate(DBP)and butyl benzyl phthalate(DMEP),with the highest concentrations of 3570,9165 and 9230ng/m3,respectively;(2)the average concentration of phthalates in the air of male dormitory is higher than that of female dormitory;(3)the average concentration of phthalates in the air of the dormitory with a negative surface is higher than that of the dormitory with a positive surface;(4)the pollution degree of phthalates in indoor air is more serious than that in the outdoor air.The difference test of the concentration of phthalates between the kruskal-wails group shows that there is a certain difference among the phthalates,which is statistically significant(P=0);(5)the concentration of phthalates in indoor air is the highest in winter,followed by that in autumn and the lowest in spring;(6)exposure of phthalates in indoor air is mainly through skin contact;(7)the CR value of the carcinogenic risk of DEHP in the dormitory and classroom exceeds the standard,and there is a certain carcinogenic risk.This paper conducts a systematic study on PAEs pollution in the environment where college students stay for the first time,improves the database of PAEs pollution in indoor air in China,and provides scientific basis for improving indoor air quality and establishing quality standards of PAEs in indoor environment.
