Pervious concrete is one of the materials to solve the problems of sponge city construction,but its low strength limits its popularization and use.Adding polymer is an effective means to enhance its strength.At present,many experts and scholars mainly focus on aggregate types and gradation,mix ratio,types of cement and admixtures,construction technology and the impact of different types of polymers on its strength,but few studies have been done on the change of polymer viscosity with temperature and its impact on the strength and permeability of polymer permeable concrete.On the basis of previous studies,two kinds of polymers,hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose and epoxy resin,were selected to improve the strength of permeable concrete.The following experiments were carried out:(1)The variation of polymer viscosity with concentration was tested by standard viscometer at room temperature;(2)The change of strength and permeability of polymer permeable concrete with polymer viscosity was tested.(3)testing the law of polymer viscosity changing with temperature;(4)determining the range of viscosity that meets the requirements of strength and permeability;(5)testing the construction temperature condition that meets the range of viscosity.The research results are as follows:(1)the viscosity of polymer solution increases with the increase of solution concentration,but the two do not change proportionally;(2)the strength of polymer permeable concrete increases first and then decreases with the increase of polymer viscosity,while its permeability decreases gradually;(3)the viscosity of polymer solution decreases gradually with the increase of solution temperature,and finally tends to a stable value;(4)according to the need of The required strength and permeability can determine the viscosity range of the polymer;(5)The temperature range of the polymer permeable concrete construction can be determined by testing,and the construction temperature conditions can be determined.
