With the wide application of PVC profile and its cutting equipment in construction and manufacturing industry,traditional cutting methods such as manual cutting and semi-automatic cutting are difficult to meet the quality and intelligent environmental requirements of the market,which makes the building materials industry in urgent need of a new,intelligent and environmentally friendly cutting equipment to replace traditional manual operation.Based on this,a non-chip cutting machine of PVC profile is designed in this paper,which can improve the quality and efficiency of cutting and meet the needs of the market.The paper studies the existing problems of cutting machine initially and puts forward the corresponding plan of improvement.Through the analysis of the mechanical structure and control system of the non-chip cutting machine,the technical route of the research is determined.Then,the specifications of the main components are determined and the three-dimensional model of each mechanism is established according to the analysis of the mechanical structure,the feeding mechanism,the walking mechanism and the cutting mechanism of the non-chip cutting machine.After that,The force process of cutting tool is analyzed,and the force condition of cutting tool is determined;The cutting tool is studied by finite element method,and the stiffness matrix equation of cutting tool is obtained;ANSYS Workbench software is used to analyze the heat and solid coupling of two different materials,and the conclusion is that the high speed steel tool is better than the stainless steel tool;The modal analysis of the gear shaft assembly and the motor support is carried out under the prestress,and the first 6 modes of modal vibration pattern are obtained,and the resonance phenomenon is avoided comparing with the excitation frequency of the motor;The fatigue analysis of the gear and rack is carried out and the S-N curve is determined.It is concluded that the torque applied on the gear rack meets the design requirements and can avoid the fatigue failure of the structure.Finally,through the analysis of the working condition of the control system of the non-chip cutting machine,the principle diagram of the pneumatic system is designed,and the flow chart of the PLC system,the wiring diagram of the hardware,the sequence function diagram and the trapezoid diagram are designed;The MATLAB/Simulink software is used to analyze the temperature control system of electric heating plate,and the transfer function model is established.It is proved that the Smith compensation PID control is superior to the conventional PID control and meets the design requirements.Through the design of mechanical structure,the finite element analysis and control system of key structure,a PVC profile non-chip cutting machine used in the field of building materials and machining industry is developed in this paper.The intelligent,integration and automation functions of the PVC profile cutting are realized,the cutting quality of the profiles is improved and the labor cost is saved.The research provides a theoretical basis for the modernization of the plastic cutting and manufacturing industry,which is of great significance to the automatic cutting of the PVC profile manufacturing line.
