Researcli On The Design Of Daily Ceramics In Jingdezhen From 1949 To 1995

With the establishment of New China and the need for the transformation of socialist public ownership,Jingdezhen City has integrated and reorganized about ten state-owned large-scale ceramic production enterprises on the basis of the original small workshops.People used to call it “Top Ten Porcelain Factory”.This also represents the peak of the development of the daily-use ceramics industry in Jingdezhen.Through the in-depth study of the daily ceramic design of the “Top Ten Porcelain Factory” in Jingdezhen from 1949 to 1995,I have roughly combed the development process of Jingdezhen daily-use ceramics modernization,and described its social development background and sales system through staging.The technical value,followed by a brief description of its economic and aesthetic value,industrial clusters,and some representative products of the period,through the three levels of modeling,crafts,decoration and appreciation.At that time,the spirit of the workers’ aggressiveness,the exquisite craftsmanship of the porcelain products,and the technological innovations under difficult conditions were all our valuable assets.The article reviews a series of problems arising from Jingdezhen daily-use ceramics from 1949 to 1995,and brings this into the current situation of the development of daily-use ceramics industry in Jingdezhen.I hope that it can be taken as a warning and attach importance to the virtuous circle of market and production.Continuously improve the quality and variety of products to revitalize the glory of Jingdezhen daily-use ceramics industry.
