Cellulose is a polysaccharide composed of glucose,which is widely found in nature.Bamboo fiber is a kind of natural cellulose fiber with good air permeability and other excellent properties.The limit oxygen index of bamboo fiber fabric is only 17.9%,the limiting oxygen index of Bamboo and cotton blended fiber is 18%,the limiting oxygen index of Bamboo fiber spandex blended fabric is 17%,which all belongs to flammable fiber.The amount of bamboo fiber fabric is increasing day by day in daily life,so it is necessary to explore how to prepare a kind of bamboo fiber fabric with flame retardant performance.So it is very important to choose a non-toxic flame retardant and a new flame retardant method.In this experiment,the flame retardancy of the reference alginate was related to the large number of carboxyl groups and salt ions contained in the alginate itself.Through graft copolymerization,in the acidic environment with the ammonium cerium nitrate initiator system,the acrylic acid containing carboxyl group was used as the branch link to the main chain of bamboo fiber to introduce carboxyl group.After alkalization reaction and salinization reaction,hydrogen ion on the carboxyl group was replaced by sodium ion and metal ion to produce flame retardant fabric.Using the weight gain rate,mechanical property testing,testing the limit oxygen index(LOI),Fourier infrared spectrum(FTIR),scanning electron microscope(SEM),the micro calorimeter characterization methods and thermogravimetric analysis(TG)such as the flame retardant fabric performance were characterized and the results show that weight gain rate and the grafting reaction temperature,reaction time,monomer concentration,initiator concentration.After acrylic acid grafting,alkalization and salinization,the ultimate oxygen index of flame-retardant bamboo fiber fabric was 31.3%,the limiting oxygen index of flame-retardant bamboo cotton fiber fabric was 32%,the limiting oxygen index of flame-retardant bamboo fiber spandex blended fabric was 30.5%,The limiting oxygen index is all greater than 27%.The LOI of the three fiber fabrics after alkalizing and salting is increased to more than 30%,The flame retardant level(LOI is greater than 27%)is reached,washed 20 times with water,and then burned vertically after 10 times of soaping to reach B1 level.The mechanical properties of the three fibers were reduced by 20%?30%.After the flame retardant fabric burns,the amount of carbon residue increases,the heat release rate and the total heat release decrease,the surface carbon layer becomes denser,the shape is complete,and the flame retardant performance is greatly improved.
