An Empirical Study On The Relationship Between Ecological Knowledge And Ecological Consciousness Of Immigrants In Immigration Areas

The sharp contradiction between man and nature is the root cause of population poverty and poor environment.It is an important basis for human beings to adjust their own behavior and an important driving force for the evolution of human civilization.Ecological migration is often seen as one of the effective ways to break the cycle between poverty and environmental degradation and alleviate the contradiction between man and nature.Therefore,taking ecological immigrants into the area as an entry point and studying the construction of ecological civilization is highly representative.The construction of ecological civilization requires the active participation of the majority of immigrants.Therefore,it is necessary to educate the immigrants on ecological civilization so that they can master the ecological knowledge.Only after the immigrants have universalized and effectively understood the ecological knowledge,it is possible to form an ecological awareness that conforms to the construction of ecological civilization.Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region is one of the most fragile and most concentrated contiguous areas in China.Based on the reviewing of relevant literatures both at home and abroad,this study is focus on the ecological migration in Ningxia moved area.In this work,ecological knowledge is divided into three dimensions(the environmental pollution.agricultural production and economic and industrial knowledge),and ecological consciousness is divided into five dimensions(ecological value,ecological sensitivity and ecological responsibility consciousness,and the perception and concerning to environmental pollution).Based on the logical system above,the corresponding measurement index system is constructed.In this work,the verification factor analysis method is applied to test the measurements in the ecological knowledge and awareness model.Based on the structural equation model,the relationship between ecological knowledge and awareness is empirical researched,in which the demographic sociological variables are set as the adjustment variables to study their effects on the ecological knowledge and consciousness.We found that the ecological knowledge has a significant positive effect on ecological consciousness,that is,the improvement of ecological knowledge of immigrants will directly lead to a significant improvement of ecological awareness.In this work,the model path standardization factor load is 0.561,and the explanatory variance is 0.315.When the population sociology variable is used as the adjustment variable,the adjustment effect is significant at 10%level except when the nationality as the regulating variable,while others variables including sex,age,income and educational level have no significant regulating effect on the relationship between ecological knowledge and ecological consciousness.Based on the founding above,we put forward the corresponding policy recommendations.
