| The government places great emphasis on the construction of ecological civilization and is making greater efforts to protect the environment and control pollution.The environmental industry gains many rare opportunities while the companies in the environmental business are faced with fiercer competition.Zeguang Environment Technology Co.,Ltd.(Zeguang Environment,for short),located in Xiamen,provides environmental services,such as wastewater treatment,pollution detection in real time and flue gas processing.The company has grown in size since it was founded and owns several projects.With the rapid development of the company,the question that how to take advantage of the strengths and find a proper market orientation has to be answered for the management of the company.In order to make full use of the opportunities,it is necessary for the company to set strategies for its development and growth.This paper deeply analyzes the internal and external environment of Zeguang Environment based on PEST analysis,Porter’s five-force model and SWOT analysis,then sets up the company’s development strategy.According to the analysis results of the external environment,this company is faced with more development opportunities than constraints;while it undertakes more operation projects with abundant resources and strong competitiveness,according to the analysis results of the internal environment.However,this company is also short of senior management talents and takes no advantage over its marketing capability and capital.Therefore,Zeguang Environment should apply WO strategy to increase market share of percolate treatment and wastewater treatment,and to expand business scale of pollution source’s online monitoring,operation and maintenance service,while strengthening the management for environmental equipment procurement as well as for environmental protection service and attaching importance to the company’s brand building.To ensure the implementation of the strategy,the corresponding measures are proposed,which includes improving procurement quality,enhancing marketing capacity building,promoting financial management capabilities,strengthening environmental safety management,and improving organizational structure and talent training mechanism. |
