Application Of Critical Chain In Coating Value Analyze And Cost Reduction Project In N Company

Coating development history can be described as a long history.However,comparing to other manufacturing,coating R & D management technology is still very backward,which makes difficult to keep up with the rapid development of the marketing needs.To solve the problem,and enhance the R & D project success rate and completion rate,change the current extensive,backward management state,is a very serious issue in front of project managers from the coatings industry.And now we make some analysis and discussion,which based on the N company coating value analyze and cost reduction project,on the problems existing in the project.Using the critical chain method to solve the problems from multi project,including project priority judgment,critical chain bottleneck resource scheduling and buffer settings.In the buffer settings,comparing the traditional 1/2 method and the root variance method with some new methods,the final choice is using 1/2 method to solve the problem.At last,through setting the three level buffer to make the early warning mechanism.The project schedule is monitored,and the operation and feasibility are verified by the practice,while the management system is formed.At the end of this paper,at the aspect of company management,giving some suggestions at how to control the project schedule is better.The feasibility and effectiveness of the method are verified by the application and practice of the time management method to the project of N company.
