In recent years, with the rapid development of traditional Chinese medicine, the production of traditional Chinese medicine products is increasing, accompanied by a large amount of Chinese medicine residue.Chinese medicine residue originates from a variety of traditional Chinese medicines. And it is complex in compositions, high in water content, easy to corrupt and deteriorate, and difficult to store. At present, there is no effective way to use and solve the problem. Most of the production enterprises only landfill these waste residues simply, which is easy to cause environmental pollution. In this paper, the preparation of non-resistant feed additives by microbial rapid fermentation for high-humidity residue was studied. The growth performance of pig feeding, slaughter index, pork quality index and safety index were determined in the experiment of replacing part of feed with fermented residue of traditional Chinese medicine. The feasibility and validity of the alternative feed were further demonstrated. The research contents and results are as follows:(1)The optimization of microbial rapid fermentation process for high humidity residue.First of all,Lactobacillus plantarum and Lactobacillus acidophilus(1:1)were selected as the optimum fermentation strains. Then the optimum fermentation process was determined by single factor experiments as follows: The amount of exogenous sucrose added was 15% to 20%,the ratio of mixed bacterium was 0.5‰ ~ 5‰,The ratio of yeast was fixed at 0.25‰.After stirring uniformly, the product could be used in closed fermentation at room temperature for 1-2 days.(2)By feeding pigs with fermented Chinese medicine residue and feeds, the effect of fermented traditional Chinese medicine residue on pig breeding was investigated.Four groups of feeding experiments were designed : Positive control group(with anti-full-price feed),negative control group(self-proportioning),low-dose test group(10% substituted self-proportioning of fermentation residue),high-dose test group(20% substituted self-proportioning of fermentation residue). After 200 days of feeding,by measuring the growth performance, pork quality and safety index of the experimental pigs, the effects of fermented Chinese medicine residue on pig breeding were found. The results are as follows:The effects on growth performance: compared with the positive and negative control group, the pigs in the high and low dose groups fed with fermented Chinese medicine residue were bright and straight in appearance, the diarrhea rate was only 0.07% and 0.09%,lower than that of the control group, and the ratio of feed to weight was also decreased significantly. The effects on pork quality: compared with the negative control group, the meat rate of pork in the high and low dose groups increased by 11.31% and 10.95% respectively.Compared with the positive control group, the meat rate of pork in the high and low dose groups increased by 6.05% and 5.71% respectively. In addition, the low dose group had significant low dehydration rate(6.02 +0.28)%.The meat color scores of high and low dose groups were above 4 points(5 points system),which was significantly different from that of control group(p < 0.05).The effects on pork safety performance: Heavy metals such as cadmium, mercury and lead and inorganic arsenic were not detected;Oxytetracycline, chloramphenicol, sulfonamide and other commonly used veterinary antibiotics were not detected in fresh pork;666,DDT and dichlorvos were not detected;Salmonella was not detected, and microbial indicators such as the total number of colonies were complied with national standards. In this paper,a fast and effective microbial fermentation process for high humidity Chinese medicine residue was established. The rapid treatment and long-term preservation of high humidity Chinese medicine residue were realized. And the fermented products were applied to pig breeding which had the effects of reducing feed-Weight ratio, improving pork quality and disease resistance, and reducing the use of antibiotics. They could be used as non-resistant feed additives in the breeding industry. The technical route established in this paper provides a feasible solution for the resource and high-value utilization of traditional Chinese medicine residue. The fermentation products prepared as non-resistant feed additives also provide a low-cost,high-efficiency feed source for the realization of ecological breeding in the life of post antibiotics. It has important popularization value.
